“This small Motel is a reasonable place to stay in San Clemente. The Owner is on property and extremely kind and accommodating. The room is quite small but doable for a couple. Loved the outdoor area with a picnic table and a small couch with side tables”

“My wife and I had an excellent 2-night stay in unit 3 while visiting San Clemente for our nephew's HS graduation. The unit was perfect for us. Clean, spacious and well appointed. The view and sounds of the surf breaking on the beach was loved. The one and only nuisance was the beach campfire smoke that would blow in with the onshore breeze each night from around 7 to 10:30pm. Since we have some breathing sensitivities, we ended closing up the unit and spent our time off-site during that……

“I contacted the property to let them know the reservation was not placed/ I didnt make it. Crickets. Come to find out, there is no reception/lobby/ anyone on the property and is non refundable. Expedia forwarded and email and havent heard since. Expedia is also 0/10. No help at all!”

“The best thing was the view! ☀️and we had good weather. The room was clean but needed some touch-up paint. Our coffee was only regular (no decaf) but when we needed more supplies the “desk” at Sea Horse resort didn’t have clue where we could get what we needed. (As a side note she delivered expired packets) Something to really consider is the noise of the trains coming and going. It was noticeable but not a dealbreaker. We will stay again but these are things to consider. A trolley stop is in……

“Terrible. Arriving at the hotel it was so dirty, small, and it looked suspicious. Nothing like the pictures online! We got into our room and wanted to run outside. It was horrible! It smelled terrible, had mold everywhere, and I didn't stay to check out what else, but the room was dirty. The hotel itself was not clean, had no bathrooms in the lobby, and it was an absolute nightmare. I wanted to stay inside my car instead of that room, but in the end I canceled my stay, and was left finding a……
