THE VILLAGE. ANTICO BORGO CASALAPPI extends for eight hectares close to the manor house and the castle. The old buildings have been recovered with different volumes, shapes and locations depending on the original use respecting the Tuscan tradition, keeping unchanged the charm of stone, bricks and terracotta tiles.
The village is located on the hills overlooking the Island of Elba surrounded by fields planted with wheat, olive trees and sunflowers, enriched by fine finishes and common areas made of finely lit walkways, squares furnished with elegant flower beds and benches, from a semicircular pool with solarium overlooking the entire valley, tennis court, bowling alley and a large play area for children. The structure is immersed in a context of great scenic interest and artistic / cultural itineraries, in front of a sea with beautiful beaches such as Torre Mozza, Carbonifera, Gulf of Baratti, etc.
You can admire in the immediate vicinity medieval villages such as Campiglia Marittima, Suvereto and Massa Marittima, in addition to the Etruscan Necropolis of Baratti and the promontory of Populonia.
The proximity of the Venturina Thermal Center remains a place of particular interest for relaxation and body care.

Enogastronomy: The area where the village is located is full of very famous and well-known cellars such as the splendid Cantina Petra, often the subject of photographic exhibitions like that of Oliviero Toscani. From the thousand farmers in the area you can buy their freshly picked products. The pastures of the area are full of Chianina cows and the meat that sells the small butchers are often local products of the highest value. A myriad of meat and fish restaurants will make your evenings pleasant when you do not want to use the barbecue. Alternatively events and festivals in the hot season.
Biking and nature trails: The hills are ideal for those who love cycling and walking. Visit a medieval village or get lost in the parks of the Sterpaia or Montione, rather than seeing hares and pheasants.
