A strong recommendation for the hosts are to add split air conditioners. The house was EXTREMELY hot. We could not be inside the house from 11am until about 7pm due to the indoor temperatures reaching the high 80s. There were numerous main windows and a skylight that were extremely challenging to cover with sheets to keep the heat out.
The hosts didn’t have any summer toys so we left some inner tubes we purchased.
Shower items, like shampoos were low end, one bathroom had no body wash, and most of the toilet paper in the house was gone by the time we left.
We were short on towels for the first few days until we found that the dryer was full of them.
There is also a carpenter ant issue inside the house. Our 4 year old played with them a lot, so that was a bonus.
There are hefty check out suggestions, such a stripping all beds.
The patio umbrella was found in the garage on the last day.
BRING BUG SPRAY.
The house was pretty clean, but there were bugs, dust, and cob webs evident- on the stove fan, skylight, and other windows.
The patio did not have an ashtray for smokers.
I would not stay here during the summer again.
It looks much smaller than the ones pictured made it seem, as well. Although multi-floor, space was limited per our expectations.
In addition, the posting claims that the community center was included, but it was $10 per adult with one free adult pass and then $8 for 7-17 year olds. The host was able to help us cover some of these costs.
