“Overall is pretty good. Nice paintings everywhere. Good location to visit scenes by walk. The only disadvantage that you might hear sounds from your neighbors. I love this place and hope will have chaclnce to be here again.”

“Our stay was absolutely wonderful at the Lord Elgin in downtown Ottawa. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, very clean. Bar has excellent cocktails. But the best part for me is the valley parking. You have to pay extra for it, but it’s well worth every penny especially during the winter months. Looking forward to going back.”

“it was a lovely hotel... everything was perfect till the AC was broken on the hottest day of the year. I know the owner try their best to fix it but still....I couldn't sleep in those days... and I was really disappoint that there was no any compensation on this accident....”

“Very good experience to stay. The room clean and big enough. With basement car park to make to feel my car safe to park. The washroom with show gel / shampoo & conditioner. The showhead was adjustable and water pressure strong enough. And there are also very impressive idea. Never see it in other hotel. A small night light in washroom. Breakfast with a lot options too.but the house keeper opened our door and come to clean up the room directly before we check out. This must be improve. ”

“The room is comfortable and clean. However, only disposable tableware is used for breakfast, which is not eco-friendly. The location is easy to access and in a walkable distance to Byward Market. The only drawback is there are a lot of homeless on the street but they didn’t appear to be threatening. ”
