A nice stay within boutique hotel

I was here for 3 nights and overall very pleased with my stay. I thought this was just a condo initially but upon arriving I noticed that this was in fact an older all inclusive resort. A small resort for Cancun but they have the usual amenities you would expect: buffet bar, spa, gym, 4 restaurants, pool including a swim up bar and beach area. I could of course use the amenities but not partake in drinks or meals. The check in process was easy and the host communicated with me a few days prior to let me know when I would be receiving the entry instructions. The apartment was very clean, a good size. 2 beds that were comfortable. The view is not facing the ocean but rather the main road. The WIFI was good and I clocked the download speed at over 150mbs for those doing some work while here. The unit is on a lower floor which I did not mind as I could get to the beach within 3 min by taking the stairs and not bothering with the elevator. The host really tries to setup the place with all that you would need. There was lots of bottled water, coffee machine, snacks, beach towels etc. For others booking I would advise of a few things. The location is around the 20km mark of the hotel zone so very low on the “7” which means it feels like you are a bit remote. There are not a lot of restaurants nearby so expect to take the red bus often. I asked about paying for a meal at one of the restaurants but the only deal they had was a day rate for $90 USD and that was only for the buffet.

Great spot

The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. We got in late our first day and he had no problem getting us set up at 10pm at night. The location is in a great spot in the Hotel Zone and the place is beautiful. Would definitely recommend!
