The place is wonderful. What I did not like much is that some of the facilities were not available (hidro massage, gas bbq). The road to get there is also narrow and full of curves, but totally worth it. The family do not speak much in English, but we always could mostly understand each other. The apartment that I got was old fashioned and better than I could expect and with almost everything you might (no salt or oil to cook, but everything else). The view is amazing and the heating elements worked great for the starting cool nights (15 or less). If I can, I would stay again!

Exceptionnel. L’appartement pour notre famille de 4 était parfait, la propreté impeccable, le cadre époustouflant (quelle vue sur la vallée du petit kiosque à l’extérieur au soleil couchant, et quel délice le petit café au soleil levant sur le petit balcon). Que dire de notre hôte: sourire, flexibilité, patience et gentillesse (malgré notre méconnaissance complète de l’italien...) Et c’est sans réelle surprise que sa cuisine et son invitation à découvrir la gastronomie locale - vraiment maison, et vérifié puisque vu elle-même à la préparation et aux fourneaux -, testées au dîner et au petit-déjeuner, s’est avérée aussi savoureuse que - extrêmement! - généreuse (ne manquez pas l’antipasti aux aubergines - dont j’ai oublié le nom -, le pancetta cotta avec parmeggiano reggiano (de 40 mois je crois), les tortellini verde, entre autres plats - ce sont nos préférés -, arrosés d’un Lambrusco rouge pétillant vraiment assorti et étonnant.. Et je tiens à ajouter que nous étions sous budget limité. Pour nous une vraie expérience d’hospitalité, et j’ai pourtant beaucoup voyagé. Grazie mile! (et je m’excuse, je vous l’ai demandé avant de partir mais ai encore oublié votre nom!)

Un petit paradis en compagnie d’anges

Nous avons adoré l’emplacement dans la montagne. La vue était spectaculaire et il y régnait une ambiance paisible. Tout était à la hauteur de nos attentes. Nous tenons à mentionner l’accueil extraordinaire de Rose et sa belle-mère. Elles nous ont fait sentir comme des membres de la famille. Rose nous a servi un souper mémorable aux saveurs familiales de l’Italie. Après 12 jours, il demeure le meilleur repas que nous avons mangé. On peut en dire autant du petit déjeuner le lendemain matin. Une cuisine maison qui n’a rien à envier aux chefs. Le seul bémol, nous y sommes restés qu’une nuit. Une prochaine fois, nous resterons au moins trois nuits pour profiter du beau paysage de la région et de l’accueil de nos hôtesses. N’hésitez pas à vous rendre a Canossa, Verlano pour y rencontrer Rose, vous ne serez pas déçu.
