If you can bear to leave Bumble Barn, you can walk or cycle to a variety of old country pubs or be picking up your warm croissant and locally made honey for breakfast from the village shop. Along with everything the rural villages of Kent have to offer, the popular seaside town of Hythe is only 9 miles away and great for water sports, sailing, paddle boarding, canoeing and sea fishing. The historic cathedral city of Canterbury is 10 miles in the opposite direction with its famous cathedral, a variety of restaurants, shopping, theatre and beautiful gardens within the city walls.
