Farmstay in Canton of Bern

"Great staff very helpful. They upgraded our room upon arrival which I don’t believe ever requesting. There were nice perks included like tooth brush toothpaste, and several other bathroom supplies. Several drinks were included, and chocolate was included. Beds were clean and comfy, room was clean. Staff was great in helping make accommodations for taxi ride to the train station. Breakfast was mediocre, but there are great restaurants just a short walk away. "

"Perfect hotel, amazing location near Rosen garden, 12 mnts walking to downtown Bern, two mnts walking to bus or tram, wonderful receptionists, always cooperative and welcoming with their smiles, free ticket transportation in Bern city during all residency, free coffee and water everyday till midnight, it is really amazing hotel for friends couples or families."

"This hotel is in the center of Bern about a 5 minute walk to the train station. We flew into Zurich and took a train to Bern and walked to the hotel. Very easy and convenient. Bern is a very walkable city and also has excellent public transportation so I do not recommend renting a car. Parking is difficult and it is hard to figure out which parking spaces are legal at all times or if you need a parking permit which is region specific. The hotel is nice and offers a great breakfast (especially the beautiful breads). Fresh coffee is available 24 hours a day. In the afternoons they had a self serve bar with a wide variety of wines, beers, cocktail makings and nonalcoholic beverages and with bar snacks which looked nice although we didn't make use of their offerings."

"Cute hotel, chalet-style made the Switzerland trip even more special. Perfect location a nice walk to the train station ot bus stop right across the street. Walking distance to restaurants, COOP and a pharmacy. On the same street as the bus going towards Thun as well. Staff at the front desk were amazing and helpful for any questions or issues we had. Area was so quiet too. Breakfast had enough options for food. Price of the hotel was decent. "

"Eiger Lodge Chic has clean, spacious, modern, comfortable rooms and overall has a nice, fun, attractive ski lodge feel. It is located within a 2 minute walk to both: (1) Grindelwald Terminal train station, which is connected to the Gondola to Mannlichen and excellent upper hiking areas, and (2) Grindelwald Grund station, which serves the scenic cog railway to Kleine Scheidegg - for more hiking and access to Wengen and Lauterbrunnen. For us, the perfect location. Also, very easy bus ride into main Grindelwald town up the hill with many restaurants (hotel provides free bus passes). Great views of mountains without mobs of tourists found in central Grindelwald. The Eiger grill restaurant had good food and atmosphere. Hotel had excellent breakfast. Check-in and check-out people were super friendly, efficient, and helpful. Perfect hotel for us. We would definitely return."
