「What a terrific setting nestled in the mountains outside of Cartaga. The Tico style cabin had two bedrooms and a single bath with a great room containing the kitchen, dinning room and living room. I spent most of my time on the deck. Was clean and well maintained. 」

「Staying here for 2 days was the best part of our trip to Costa Rica! We were treated like family! Albert Alonso the owner is a wonderful chef and he makes everything himself. From bread to pizza, pies and everything in between. He also went over and beyond and called around to find a personal guide to show us around the area that was honest and trustworthy. Thank you to the Alonso family!」

「This property consists of 3 relatively new cabins located inside a secure gate beside to the main road that circles the beautiful Orosí valley. The cabins are surrounded by greenery including a giant stand of bamboo and orange trees from the family’s orchard, which smell delightful! The road is quite busy during the day but very quiet at night and we had no difficulty sleeping. The cabins themselves block most of the outside sound. There was plentiful hot water for the shower from the rooftop...

「Stephen and Nancy are amazing host with an amazing place and some amazing stories of their world travels . We stayed a mth and were welcomed the entire time. We loved waking up to bird songs and breakfast with the most friendly dogs you have ever met. We loved the area so much we ended up buying property from them! 」

「This is a beautiful property and building. Gisella is a kind and amazing host and the food is some of the best we have had in our travels. Our stay here was so restful and it is a wonderful way to recharge. I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone needing to unwind and recharge a bit. We will certainly be back for another stay next time we are in the area.」
