“The staff was amazing! Like unbelievably amazing! Greeted at the dock, luggage taken care of, greeted with fresh watermelon juice, chef cooked such delicious meals (dessert included), housekeeping cleaned 2-3 times a day, cooper hooked us up with tours, everything was great and relaxing. 3 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to the national park, 5 minute walk to the village. ”

“Leider konnte uns die Mawamba Lodge nicht überzeugen. Von den 2 gebuchten Bungalows war bei Ankunft nur einer verfügbar. Der andere war im Bau und entkernt. Durch die Bauarbeiten gab es auch extreme Lärmbelastigung den ganzen Tag (Betonmischer, Sägen, Hämmern usw.) Dies hätte uns vor Ankunft mitgeteilt werden müssen, besonders da wir ca. 7 Monate vorher gebucht hatten. Die Damen von der Rezeption waren mittelmäßig bemüht. Der angebotene Bungalow schien erst kurz vor unserer Ankunft fertig……

“Ramiro was amazing and all the other staff members were so helpful and attentive! My husband and I stayed here for a portion of our honeymoon and it was very romantic. The staff know you by name and when we arrived immediately came up to our vehicle to greet us with umbrellas and escorted us to dinner. Our travels were delayed getting there, so Ramiro sent us the dinner menu and had our food being prepared as we arrived. It was truly magical! The natural pool, sauna, and walking trails felt like……

“Hele mooie fijne locatie heel vriendelijk personeel maar let op geen airco op de kamer werd gelijk voor ons een ventilator neergezet wat heel fijn was wat dat heb je daar wel nodig. Het was erg schoon. Het ontbijt was erg goed. We hebben genoten van onze twee nachten hier”

“Staff were excellent especially Kaylor and the team, very warm and helpful with organising our tours. Food options also very good and place is quiet and in the middle of nature. Accomodation is ok, little bit rustic but then it is an eco lodge and you paying for seclusion and to be close to wildlife. Would recommend overall”

“Der erste Eindruck war ernüchternd, da von dem üppigen Bewuchs rund ums Haus, der auf den Fotos zu sehen war, nichts mehr übrig ist. Juanita, die leider kein Englisch spricht, hat uns mit einem sehr leckeren Fruchtshake begrüßt und auf Nachfrage konnten wir ihre Waschmaschine nutzen. Weiterhin hat sie einen Guide organisiert der uns verschiedene Touren anbot. Soviel zum Positiven. Das Zimmer war zwar sauber, das Inventar lässt leider zu wünschen übrig. Es gibt keine Nachttischlampen, die……

“Cet hôtel est au milieu de 2 autres hôtels, l’evergreen et le Monkey, reliés par un chemin goudronné. Nous étions les seuls clients dans celui ci donc pas de buffet. L’hôtel est insalubre, aucune propreté, nous sommes restés 3 nuits et aucun ménage dans la chambre, nous avons dû nous sécher pendant 3 jours avec les mêmes serviettes à raison de deux douches par jour. La chambre est moite, très humide, ce qui rend le sol glissant.Aucun confort mais vraiment aucun. Ne vous fiez surtout pas aux……

“Location great right on seafront and peaceful and just a 5 minute walk to everything. The staff was very helpful providing information and answering questions. Apartment well-equipped and spacious. The open air bathroom and kitchen were a nice feature as you could see birds flying overhead.”

Their dock is nice and relaxing. We were able to get some beautiful sunset pictures. The breakfast was very good! We would definitely recommend it!”
