LOVED THE FARMHOUSE & THE HAYLOFT

Amazing views and location. Three generations of our family came for 2 weeks (we all wish we had come for longer). We had a wonderful time in the pool, food at the surrounding trattorias, local wine and olive oil tasting. Lots of places to visit. Very helpful staff especially Christina

Home with a wonderful feeling.

The house and property had such a wonderful feeling and we instantly felt at home. The house had everything up could need and was vacation ready upon checkin. Communication with the team was excellent and the chef service was outstanding. Would definitely book this property again.

Nice property but not perfect

The house and grounds were nice and we had a great stay. Lots of privacy and not to far from the supermarket about 12min drive. House was clean and tidy but needs some attention to detail to make it a great house. Unfortunately the area was swarming with horse flys particularly around the pool. Also there were huge and I mean huge hornets nesting in the smaller house roof. As in many houses there are normally fly nets on the windows to stop flys coming in. Because there weren’t the windows had to be kept shut making the house very hot with little air movement. The description of the house said it was an infinity pool. It most definitely was not an infinity pool. A pleasant non heated round pool with about a 8inch gap from the pool to the top. Sadly none of the lights worked on arrival, we asked for them to be fixed as we enjoy an evening swim but never received any replies. Being so remote you are likely going to cook at the house so I would suggest bringing your own knives, even the bread knife couldn’t cut bread as it was so blunt. So overall a nice stay but needs work to make it a more enjoyable stay.

Belle propriété au calme.

Maison bien tenue avec aménagements qui vous feront vous sentir comme chez vous. Vous serez au calme et seul le campanile à quelques centaines de mètres viendra perturber légèrement vos nuits (pas dérangeant). !! La maison est accessible que moyennant un détour de 10 min pour les très grosses voitures (Q7, Dodge RAM, ...) car petite rue y donnant accès est trop étroite pour y rentrer.

Herrliche Lage mit Blick auf Lucca

Das perfekte Haus für ein sommerliches Familientreffen oder Zusammenkunft von Freunden. Auf dem großen Grundstück stehen ein Haupthaus und ein Nebengebäude mit Extra Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer und Bad. Das Haupthaus ist groß und sehr schön ausgestattet. Wir haben zwei herrliche Wochen in Capannori verbracht und schöne Ausflüge nach Lucca, Pisa, Barga und ans Meer gemacht. Der schöne Pool lädt zum Entspannen und Spielen ein!!! Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern ist unkompliziert und die Begrüßung mit großem Obst- und Gemüsekorb und Wein sehr liebenswert. Ich kann einen Aufenthalt dort wärmstens empfehlen.

Brilliant villa, lots to do in the area

Villa and hayloft are a great combination of old traditional (original brickwork and some decor) and modern (WiFi, good dishwasher, pool etc). Well cared for and kitted out with most of what one could need (nice touches like table tennis and welcome wine). Lots to do in area but our kids enjoyed the pool too much for us to do justice to it all. Great local eateries (2 walkable, just). Friendly and helpful local agents and very nice owner. Only minor niggle was odd check out process where the cleaners arrive an hour before you have to leave! Anyway, highly recommend this villa!

I can't recommend it enough

An ideal place to unwind out of season as well as the obvious summer dates. Transport was easily arranged on the advice of the very helpful Mrs Sonia and her staff. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable; well presented with a delightful living area with great views from the big windows to soak up some much needed sunshine. The welcome pack was a very nice touch and saved the us from the usual arrival angst when self catering. The location was very quiet with no intrusive traffic noise but just in a 15 mins drive from the city centre of Lucca: a real bonus!. The local facilities are within a walk if you like to walk and explore the area, with the beach close by as well as main sites such as Montecatini, Montecarlo, Pistoia, Cinque Terre, Pisa and Florence. This was an excellent venue for our 2 weeks break which helped to fully recharge the batteries. We will be back as soon as we can. Our thanks to Sonia for a really place to stay.

very charming and authentic Toscany Farmhouse

from the first to the last moment of our holidays, this week was outstanding. We were warmly welcomed with a big fresh fruit plate, the check-in was very professional and precise. The equipment of the whole farmhouse is absolutely top standard. Two bathrooms, extra toilet and all bedrooms spacy and with surprising views on the green garden and the pool. The interior design shows all the love the owner put into it. Warm wood , clear white, furniture from different ages but very stylish and authentic. We were 6 adults , up to 11 can easily find enough space in the house and outside on three(!) terraces . We loved it all very much, we didn`t find anything to be done better and we will for sure plan to come back to this unique place near Lucca.

Es war einfach traumhaft

Das ganze Anwesen war mit soviel Liebe hergerichtet und ausgestattet. Bei der Ankunft waren Teller mit frischem Obst und Gemüse für uns bereit gestellt. Überall waren Vasen mit echten Blumen. Es war super sauber. Auch bei der Abreise mussten wir nichts machen. Der Blick war gigantisch. In der Früh zwitscherten die Vögel und viele Heißluftballone waren zu sehen. Wir fühlten uns so wohl, dass wir die meiste Zeit lieber auf dem Anwesen verbrachten als irgendwohin zu fahren. Wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder. Vielen Dank für diesen wunderschönen Urlaub!!!

Beautiful house in wonderful surrounding

We have booked the holiday home with a group of eight people for one week in September. The complex, which consists of two separate houses, is located slightly above the small village of Segromigno in Monte and is about 20 minutes from Lucca by car. Surrounded by a beautiful garden and olive groves, the house is well equipped and has a large pool. Maurizia, the owner of the house and her representative Christina are very friendly and were always available for us and very keen that we could enjoy a nice holiday week.

Leuke plek met geweldig uitzicht!

Met 2 gezinnen (4 volwassenen en 5 kinderen) beetje onhandig indelen met de 2 huizen (1 huis voor 6 personen en het andere huis voor 3 personen). Het huis heeft geen airco en geen horren voor de ramen maar wel klamboe's. Vonden wij wel echt een nadeel. Keuken in het kleine huis kun je niet gebruiken. Het hoofdhuis is echt van alle gemakken voorzien. Wel een enorm gedoe met het scheiden van het afval. Wifi vonden de kinderen prima. Werkt alleen in het hoofdhuis. Het ronde zwembad is helemaal prima. Dichtbij Lucca klopt niet helemaal.(30 minuten rijden). Pisa (45 minuten).

Tolle 2 Wochen in einer gepflegten Villa

Wir waren mit der gesamten Familie (9 Personen - 4 bis 74 Jahre) für 2 Wochen im vorgenanntem Anwesen. Die Lage in der Anhöhe mit toller Sicht auf Lucca, mit den Entfernungen zum Meer und sonstigen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Toscana sind ideal. Das Haus, der Garten (grüner Rasen und Blumen in dieser Jahreszeit!) und der Pool sind sehr gepflegt. Das Haus,die Zimmer und die Küche sind großzügig eingeteilt und mit vielen persönlichen Dingen (CD, Bücher usw.) ausgestattet. Die Sitzmöglichkeiten zum Ausruhen und vor allem zum Essen sind auch für 10 Personen innen und außen in der Sonne und im Schatten ideal vorhanden. Zusammenfassend ist das Objekt sehr empfehlenswert und für einen geruhsamen Urlaub von 8 bis 10 Personen optimal geeignet! Dipl.-Ing. Klaus Raiser

Lovely house in a beautiful setting

We had a wonderful time at the villa - the weather was perfect and the house was charming. Our children loved the pool in particular and playing in the garden. The only suggestion I can make is the pillows could be upgraded- they were very thin and hard. I would definitely return though. Grazie!

Picturesque Family Villa

Our family of seven adults had a once in a lifetime stay at this charming villa nestled in the hills outside of Lucca. From the start our host Cristina was welcoming and helpful. She also hosted a cooking class for our group right at the villa. It was informative and lots of fun to spend time with Cristina, her daughter and partner. They spoiled us with their Tuscan cuisine and entertained us with their cooking tips! We took day trips each day to Florence, Chianti, Siena, Cinque Terre and Livorno. We also explored the local vineyards in the Montecarlo area. Each night we looked forward to returning to our comfortable home for the week. We especially enjoyed the peaceful grounds and pool area. We took full advantage of the outdoor dining spaces. We all hope to return to this special place!

Beatiful setting. Rustic charm.

We received a warm and friendly welcome to this characterful late 18th century former farm house. Set slightly above the valley, the south facing garden offers superb views and is equipped with a south and a west facing patio area, hammock, table tennis table and a good sized pool. The garden is a delight. Plenty of grass area and a variety of small trees and scented roses. With your own transport it is a good base for visiting Pisa, Florence, Luca, Barga. Just one serious negative. It think it would fail a fire safety inspection. I did not see any fire or CO alarms. I do not recall seeing fire extinguishers. The 'Hay loft'[ smaller building on the right] was of particular concern. The upstairs windows do not provide an escape route as they are blocked by a lattice of brickwork. The nearest exit is a small window on the half landing. Couple of minor points. Some of the kitchen equipment could do with updating, such as the provision of casserole dishes and dish towels. Please get some fire safety advice. If this is carried out I would then strongly recommend this property as an ideal base for experiencing northern Tuscany.

Wunderschönes Landhaus

Wir haben 10 Tage im Mai in Lucca verbracht. Insgesamt waren wir 6 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder. Es war bereits warm genug, dass wir den Pool nutzen konnten. Das Haus - eigentlich sind es 2 Häuser - ist wunderbar romantisch. Besonders nett fanden wir die überdachte Veranda an der Hinterseite, wo wir oft zu Mittag gegessen haben mit italienischem Flair. Die Aussicht ist wunderbar, der Garten sehr groß und sehr gepflegt. In der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man für das tägliche Kochen benötigt inklusive Geschirrspüler. Eine Waschmaschine ist im Haus. Auch an Details wie Adapter für die Steckdosen wurde gedacht. Das Haus hat einfach einen wunderbaren italienischen Charakter und wir werden gerne wiederkommen.
