This place is in a great location for the waterfront, the V&A and easily walkable to those areas. We also walked about an hour to Clifton Beach from here. It’s an independent hotel with delightful staff who make your stay feel like a home away from home, the honesty bar was a particularly nice touch.

It is a lovely little inn in a great location. Everything was great and very clean and quiet. What distinguishes HSL is the staff. They are so helpful, smiling always and kinda. A very special shout out to Jasper. He made our stay 10 times better, and it was already lovely. Lovely fresh breakfast! Thank you Jeff too for being so accommodating. We hope to stay again. Cannot recommend it enough

Really lovely & in a nice area. The hotel was clean & exactly as pictured. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice. The room was a little small, but for the price & location, you can't beat it. I would say the only thing to note is that the stairs are very steep if travelling with large bags. But, the front desk staff did help me carry my bags all the way up. I'd stay here again. All in all, a very easy, straightforward place to stay in Cape Town.

Head South Lodge was a wonderful place to stay. Our Deluxe Room was spacious, well-appointed and had a lovely balcony to watch paragliders off of Signal Hill. Great amenities include a scrumptious breakfast (one of the best we had in our South Africa travels), nice open air community patio to relax after a day of sightseeing, a snack & drink honor bar that was reasonably priced and a helpful staff (Teddy was awesome), including a wonderful daytime staffmember who helped transport our bags to our 3rd floor room as there is no elevator. Location was minutes from the beach, a Hop On/Off bus pickup stop that can take you to V&A waterfront, Table Mountain, all around the city, etc. and several good restaurants and shops. Highly recommend Head South Lodge if you want to be slightly removed from the hustle & bustle of the Cape Town CBD but still be able to access everything that the city has to offer.

As vagas para estacionamento são liimitadas e fiquei inseguro em deixar o carro na rua apesar de ter um segurança. Nosso quarto tinha janela pra rua. Não tinha nem como abrir a cortina. Banheiro estranho com pia para fora do banheiro. Boa localização.

Nice location in Green Point. The parking situation is quite tricky, as it's all on/next to the main road (the security guard is very helpful with this though). The staff at reception were very friendly, however they didn't really go out of their way to accommodate requests, namely: 1) We asked for a King bed in our booking, but got 2 doubles, when we raised this we were told we could just push them together and it's the same (it's not) 2) The TV remote batteries were flat, when we raised this we were told we could bring the remote down or some batteries up ourselves, instead of this being handled by the staff for us (would expect a bit more from a 4 star establishment). Also found the coffee from their machine in the eating area was really not great, they should probably look at calibrating it or changing their beans or something.

Das Zimmer war geräumig mit einem großen Fenster und Balkon zur befahrenen Main Road. Das Bett war beeindruckend, ca. 240 cm breit und sehr bequem. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Ausstattung war schlicht.

request for refund. We have booked a hotel reservation for Cape Town for May 13 to May 14, 1 night. At our arrival in Cape Town SA, we were unable to get in contact with the hotel, despite multiple phone calls and e mails prior to departure from Montreal. Instructions from the hotel were to call prior to arrival as there is no check-in after 10:00 pm. Our arrival in Cape Town was after midnight, we could not get in touch with them. The airport staff arranged a hotel for us at the airport. Only when we checked in, the hotel sent a message to contact the security, again no answer. Such a great stay here! The staff were so kind and helpful, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the morning breakfast is excellent. The main manager will help you with any need, from extra blankets to laundry-by-order.
