WARNED - Do not rent

I am surprised I received a link to review as I cancelled this reservation due to a medical emergency with our son. He was brutally jumped and beaten in Thailand and we had to stay in the USA to meet him upon his return. I reached out to this host several times with no response as we had the location rented on the front end of the trip as well as the back end for a refund. Again, no response. I had to contact VRBO to explain the situation and open a case number. Joey and a female are not human. It was literally a matter of life and death with the head trauma to our son and they were unresponsive then unwilling to provide any type of a refund for a location that was not stayed in. Consider yourself warned. There are more than enough places to stay in Cape Town, believe me, I researched, but this would not be one of them. All other 5 VRBO locations issued a refund and expressed their deepest sympathy for our situation. Not this one!
