"The property was very well kept and the overall view very romantic. The room had a rustic style and our balcony very nice sight to the city. However the hotel had few roaches and that took some of the satisfaction away. Pool side was very nice and the seating areas too! "

"The hotel is situated on a hilltop overlooking the Greater Guadalajara area. It is very quiet and peaceful here. The hotel appears to not have been renovated in quite some time and is a bit "rustic". The staff here was quite attentive to our needs, especially the restaurant staff. I should note that due to the secluded nature of the hotel, you are pretty much dependent on the restaurant for your dining. The food prices are reasonable. The pool is large and was clean, however it does need maintenance as there are many missing tiles. All in all, what the property lacks is terms of being in tip-top shape is offset by the peacefulness and outstanding service. Keep in mind, the cost per night here is at least 20% less than what you will pay for a Motel 6 in the US. If you enjoy peace and quiet, this is a good choice. It is approximately 6 or 7 miles from the city center. We Ubered when we went to see the city. Uber rides are very reasonable in Guadalajara, about $5 - $7 USD per ride. Taxis are the only transportation allowed into the airport. A taxi ride to and from the airport was approximately $22 USD ($400 MXN). We were in Guadalajara for one week for a wedding and our trip was great! The people were friendly, helpful, and we felt safe the entire time."

10/10 Excellent
"We had such a wonderful stay! The space itself was so cozy and spacious. Lots of natural light along with tasteful artificial light. Ceiling fans and AC unit (only in bedroom) kept us nice and cool throughout the heat of the day. Garden was beautiful and a great little spot to relax and enjoy outside. The space was clean and tidy and had everything we needed to enjoy a meal there (we especially appreciated the small beverages our host provided in the fridge for a very reasonable fee since places around the neighborhood close early in the day)Bed was firm, but still comfy. Our host Carlos, was super attentive and kind! He greeted us as soon as we arrived and was ready to help us navigate the space and neighborhood so that we got the most out of our trip. He answered all of our questions and proved to be a most excellent host!Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. "
