Beautiful pool and medieval buildings

We enjoyed our stay here with two children. The host is on hand to help and give advice about places to visit. She noticed we had booked an apartment without a kitchen and gave me the option to swap which we appreciated. We didn't have air conditioning but with the amazing old buildings, built with thick stone walls, we only felt we needed it when the temperature reached over 35 degrees. Again the host allowed us to swap rooms. The place is near a main road which we got used to after the first day or so and is very convenient if you want to get around to visit the area. Arezzo is beautiful, not busy, and very easy to visit. We enjoyed siting on the terrace and playing table football. The pool was never busy, we often had it to ourselves and it is beautiful, deep and with pleasant shade in the afternoons. You can walk to a couple of restaurants and a train station easily but need a car to get to the supermarket (although it is only 2 minutes away).

Struttura molto bella e caratteristica, la piscina è un plus molto gradevole. I proprietari si sono dimostrati affabili e cortesi. Non merita 5 stelle perchè pagare 10 euro per il pacheggio interno di una moto mi è sembrato eccessivo. Viaggio molto in moto e non ho mai pagato così tanto per un parcheggio all'aperto.(in struttura mi hanno detto che per le auto chiedono di più!?!) Consiglio di chiarire i prezzi del parcheggio direttamente nella descrizione della struttura. In ogni caso è disponibile un parcheggio fuori la struttura completamente gratuito

Appartamento comodo, accogliente, spaziosissimo, pulitissimo e con una piacevolissima cura dei particolari. Colazione eccezionale con prodotti di pasticceria freschissimi e cappuccini cremosissimi, il tutto in un'atmosfera calda e familiare che sembra di essere a casa. Grazie ai padroni di casa, Marco e Cinzia per la gentilezza, la cortesia e la disponibilità, non vediamo l'ora di tornare.

Perfekt för en aktiv semester

Vi reste dit för att området är utmärkt för cykling. Värdparet var mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma. Huset med rum/lägenheter från medeltiden är väldigt rustikt och mysigt. Bruset från floden hördes hela tiden (på ett positivt sätt). Det finns massor av trevliga vingårdar att besöka i närområdet.

great location for out and back day trips

Cinzia and Marco were wonderful hosts and a pleasure to talk to. Cinzia booked one of the best restaurants in the area for us that she recommended and we were not dissapointed. Her home is beautiful and the cottage/2 bedroom apartment that we had was more than enough for us. Cinzia had turned on the heating for us as the temps had gone down and all was great. Breakfast was plentiful and a nice start to the day. There is a stream right by the house which you can hear and can only imagine how nice it must be there in the summer, sitting around the pool and enjoying the views. I would definitely recoomend this place and stay there when next in the area. Cinzia also suggested a couple of places to drive to as we had time and was well worth it.

Super vakantie gehad.we werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen, de kamers waren mooi en ruim. Het zwembad met wipplank was perfect voor onze kinderen. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid. Je kon alles vragen aan gastheer en -vrouw, ze zijn steeds bereid om uitleg te geven of te helpen waar nodig. Een aanrader !

Enjoyed it

Stayed for a week with two adults and two children. The hosts are lovely, the house and the pool fantastic! Good breakfast, too. Capolona is close to Arezzo and is well located if you want to discover Tuscany. Restaurants in Capolona are a short walk away from the house. La Cascata deserves a special recommendation in our opinion if you like good and simple food. Only small minus with the villa is the fact that the map at hotels.com is wrong. There you do not see that the house is very close to a bigger road with quite some traffic. No problem but a first unpleasant surprise when we arrived. Great stay overall.

Bijzondere B&B gerund door een gastvrij echtpaar!

We hadden een geweldige tijd in deze fijne accommodatie. De Villa, bewoont door de familie en het klooster waar de kamers en de appartementen gevestigd zijn, gebouwd in 1342, vormen een sfeervol geheel. Liggend aan de oever van de Arno. We hadden een twee persoonskamer met badkamer, schoon en met smaak ingericht.Verder konden we gebruik maken van een gezamenlijke ruimte met koelkast, tv en magnetron tevens kon je daar lezen of een spelletje doen. Ook deze ruimte is mooi ingericht. Parkeren konden we op de parkeerplaats, aan de andere kant van de weg, ruime plaats en je loopt direct via een poort naar de B&B. Je zit vanuit de B&B snel op de autoweg. Wij hadden geen last van de drukke weg. Cinzia, Marco en Fabricio doen er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. Het ontbijt was geweldig, ieder morgen maakte Cinzia er weer iets bijzonders van. Zoete en hartige broodjes vers gebakken, eieren en bacon, yoghurt, cappuccino en vruchtensap. Mooie bezienswaardigheden, steden zoals Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Pienza, Cortona liggen op relatieve korte rijafstand van deze plaats .Cinzia kan je tips geven welke mooie steden er zijn en mooie wandelgebieden. In de grote tuin is een zwembad waar we zelfs in het hoogseizoen vaak het zwembad voor ons alleen hadden. Mede door de gastvrijheid van het echtpaar en Fabricio hadden we een heerlijke vakantie in Italië bij deze B&B in een geweldige ambiance!

Truly adorable B&B, located 10 km outside Arezzo and approx 80 km from Florence. The rooms/apartments are spacopus, the (high speed) wifi excellent and the couple running the guesthouse extremely friendly. (providing full internationsl breakfast, making dinner reservations etc) The pool is very appreciated from the family's younger team. The only drawback in out aptmt was the lack of AC, which would be a good thing during the hot days in july/august. We highly recommend this lovely B&B.

A very spécial place to stay

What a wonderful old building this was. First built in 1475 and as a monastery, it is owned and run by a fabulous couple who are very helpful and special people. Very knowledgeable about the whole Tuscany area. Recommended many places. Breakfast was wonderful. Great big yard with many beautiful fruit trees. A very nice pool. A very terrace and sitting area. Wifi worked fine in one area of the public area but not in the room. Great value for the price.

Ci simao fermati solo una notte ma è stato molto bello farsi "viziare" da una bella colazione, piacevoli chiacchiere, consigli sugli intinerari, ecc... Pulito, gran bel giardino e piscina.
