Great view with private hotub! Staff excellent and helpful , nice restaurant and very good complimentary breakfast. It is a hike to get there from town, 25 mins, make sure to do luggage transport from ferry or town, worth 25 bucks a bag

There is 2 ways to get to this hotel. Both are straining. The last 30% is very hard. We are fit people. It’s definitely worth it. Hotel and views are gorgeous. Pool is perfect. Breakfast is nice.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Lia. Our room was modern and very nicely appointed, and our private terrace with its beautiful sea views was the highlight. Sitting outside with a glass of prosecco, taking it all in, felt very special. The staff were very helpful and happy to assist with whatever we needed. Breakfast offered a good variety, everything was very fresh, and the presentation was thoughtful and artful—a lovely way to start the day. One practical thing to know: the walk up to the property is quite a workout, with steep sections and plenty of switchbacks. We were very glad we arranged for a porter to deliver our luggage from the ferry port and would strongly recommend it. The climb is worth considering if you have mobility difficulties. For us, the beautiful views and our own private terrace made the effort worthwhile. A stay we’ll remember fondly!

This place was amazing. The staff were very nice and very helpful. The outdoor pool was nice, the view on the terrace was amazing. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, pastries, cake, pies, meats, and cheeses. The only downside is that it is a pretty vertical 15 minute walk to get too. Worth it for the view, but tiring.

It’s was a beautiful hotel and an amazing. The room was clean and the staff were helpful. The view was amazing but there wasn’t much options for the food at the restaurant or breakfast. There is quite a lot of stairs leading up to the hotel and it would have been nice to be informed about them beforehand. They organised a boat tour of the island for us which was good.

This breakfast was the BEST of our 2 week trip. The view is worth the walk - if you are fit. I enjoyed it. The internet didn't work and they had to keep resetting the router, and it would still shut off - so no wifi, and no TV. But the staff were very accommodating.

Hotel molto bello e arredato con cura. Ha un terrazzo con una vista spettacolare. Le camere sono spaziose e dotate dei confort necessari. La colazione è buona e il personale molto gentile. Unica pecca è che si raggiunge solo a piedi facendo una bella salita (non adatto a chi ha problemi di salute o non è abituato a camminare). Questo lo rende esclusivo ma faticoso da raggiungere soprattutto se si intende uscire e rientrare in hotel più volte al giorno. Diciamo che è adatto a persone "sportive". Ma una volta arrivati si gode di un bellissimo panorama, anche dalle camere. La piscina (che è ancora più in alto) è bellissima.

The view is gorgeous but the half mile trek uphill was undersold. They warn you that it’s a little trek but it is a steep incline )17-18 flights) to the center of town. We ate at the hotel restaurant one evening due to the distance back/forth and got food poisoning from the seafood. Two days of our trip was spent stuck in the room. The charge to transport your luggage is ridiculous but necessary with the hotel being so far. Concierge did give good advice on ferry tickets.

Amazing Location and view. But a tough walk to the hotel. It’s up a lot of stairs, they brought the bags up from the path, but if you have any issues with knees, hips, lungs you won’t make it to the hotel. I have been in Capri three times and this was by far the most incredible view. Top notch h restaurant, amazing pool. But you need to be in shape to get there. Also don’t plan to dash back to hotel to grab something you forgot, plan to leave and come only once a day. Also call ahead so they meet you to bring up bags from road. 38 flight of winding stone steps. Definitely a memory but like I said be in shape.

Beautiful location! Stunning views. Staff were very accommodating from the beginning with finding them and understanding as it goes in Capri with the stairs and climbing that is inevitable. Rooms were clean and pool was nice.

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux ! Bien que l’heure d’arrivée soit prévue à 15 h, la réceptionniste nous a accueillis avec le sourire et nous a permis de déposer nos bagages dès 9 h 30, ce qui nous a donné l’occasion de profiter pleinement de la randonnée de la boucle du Mont Solaro. Le dîner a été un véritable moment d’exception : une expérience gastronomique raffinée, sublimée par une vue spectaculaire sur Capri illuminée la nuit. Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésitation !

This hotel was absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views and a peaceful, serene atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the pool area was a true oasis—surrounded by lush trees and flowers, with only the soothing sound of cicadas. The walk to the hotel is quite steep, but well worth it for the experience. Plus, there’s a luggage transport service available for a fee.
