Captiva Beach Villas 🏝 On The Gulf Beach

"It was a great experience, excellent view of the sea. Everything was close to the apartment. The apartment was clean. I will recommend it to my friends. The only detail that in my opinion should be better was the general cleaning of the building. The floor at the entrance of the apartment was covered with residual from previous tenants like coffee or something like that. Other than that everything was pretty good."

"The house is spacious, very comfortable and immaculate. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and beaches.There were lots of pool floats and beach chairs. It was a perfect house for our family gathering. Would definitely rent it again."

"Housekeeping Cynthia was so kind and super sweet! Poor bar staff was incredible and attentive! Checking in was depressing because the lady clearly didn’t want to be there. We walked in all excited and she was awful and kept making comments to the lady standing next to her at the other computer (wish we would have gone to her instead). Then there was no parking even though we paid for it. We noticed only a few cars had parking passes and the rest didn’t. Then people were hogging 6+ chairs at 7am by the pool which is insanity. So we couldn’t get chairs. We were there all day and barely any of the chairs were being used. We’ve been coming here for decades but it’s changed a lot. Wish they would fix these major issues."

"We enjoyed our stay. The condo had everything we needed and location was excellent. You don’t have a beach view because of how the landscaping obstructs the view. Still a nice place to take a trip."

"Beautiful property with excellent amenities—we really enjoyed our stay. One suggestion would be to provide daily housekeeping instead of every other day. Also, while construction is ongoing, it would be appreciated if guests could be assigned rooms farther away from the construction area whenever possible. Unfortunately, our room was very close to it, which made the stay less enjoyable. Overall, it’s a beautiful place, and we would definitely consider staying again."

"Everything was beautifully decorated and amazing fixtures. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you’d need plus the awesome gas stove top “island”. It was wonderful having the two refrigerators, pool and muti layer decks. It would have been nice to have a broom, we never found one and it made it hard to clean up when we had to leave.We had a lot of food leftover which we didn’t know what to to do with. Someone told us where to donate it. The fire station was so happy to get it all and the kids were thrilled to have the firemen let them sit in the truck and got fire hats too."

"Just had a really nice week here. It's exactly as pictured and described. The resort grounds are nicely landscaped and pretty quiet. We didn't realize it's part of a gated community which also gave us some peace of mind about security.The style may not be modern, but all furniture and appliances are clean, comfortable, maintained and working well. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, dinnerware, etc. (even a knife sharpener). Has a Keurig and drip coffee. TV's have lots of free channels but couldn't find how to access the smart TV features in the living room. Internet is fast (we were getting nearly 500Mbps).Very short walk to the beach (although a rented cart made it especially easy). We had neighbors but wall soundproofing seems very good and patio windows are very thick. You hear people going up and down the stairs through the front door but it was never bothersome. Screened in patio/balcony with comfy chairs is a big plus for morning coffee/evening sit with a great view and no bugs. Some beach toys, chairs and a cooler also available although we didn't use them.Had a couple of minor asks of the host and they responded quickly. Two things we didn't like: 1) The patio is really the only window (we wouldn't open the bedroom blinds as it opens onto the stairwell). So, natural light beyond the living room is a bit lacking. 2) Lack of ceiling fan for airflow in the bedroom although there is a desk fan in there. Regardless, I would highly recommend the property."

"The host was great! Answered very quickly and was very helpful! Very lovely homeAnd clean! Had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked!! The pool was a plus. Plenty of storage space. The family area was perfect and the view from the house was gorgeous. Don’t overpack. Literally all you need is swimsuits and cover up. Food on the island was good. Shalleys Seashells was wonderful with our luggage and grocery shopping. Would definitely stay here again!"
