A Wonderful Place to Stay!

We can't say enough about this place. All of our expectations were exceeded from the cleanliness of the cabin to beautiful views. Mike was a wonderful host and shared several local places to go see and eat. We will definitely book again the next time we are in the area.

Outstanding!

We couldn’t have asked for more. From the beautiful surroundings to the clean accommodations, it was just what we asked for. The hot spring fed hot tubs were a treat! Mike, the property manager was outstanding. He shared a few local sites and restaurants that were incredible. He took customer service to a new level. We will definitely being staying there again the next time we are in the area.

Amazing Location, beautiful views, private hot springs!

We loved the location of this property and the fact that it had its own private hot springs was a huge bonus since Penny Hot Springs was always busy. Accomodations had everything we needed and was as advertised. Cleanliness could use some improvements. Instructions were perfect and the unit was easy to get into. The highlight of this property is the location and expansive views. You can hear the river from the outside area which was amazing to wake up to. Very serene property.

Peaceful and practical

My friend, my grandma and I stayed in the cabin for just two nights but loved every minute of it. My grandma is partially handicap and can only walk with a walker. She had no issues getting in and out of the cabin and was even able to walk down to the river and the serene animal sanctuary on the other side of the river. She found the cabin to be extremely accessible and the property to be a good challenge for her.

This exceptionally clean cabin faced beautiful inspiring mountains. The river below the cabin was refreshing. The natural hot spring tub was a soothing plus. Meeting the host, Mike, was an unexpected pleasure.

Relaxation in the midst of nature!

My husband, SIL and I spent two lovely nights enjoying the beautiful river, nature and the hot springs at Filoha Meadows. The night sky was really spectacular - the Milky Way was so vibrant thanks to the lack of light pollution in the area. This is definitely dark sky country (so much so that we needed to use the provided lantern to walk the short distance to the hot springs for our evening soak in the tub to watch the stars). The property is private, quiet and provided us with the R&R we desperately needed. Mike, the property manager was a pleasure to engage with and was so knowledgeable! He even provided a few recommendations of things to do in the area, including a great recommendation for delicious BBQ in Marble. The property owner even stopped by to chat with us over a glass of wine. The cabin was comfortable and had everything you could need for your stay, including additional towels for the hot springs pool and the ability to cook your own meals, if you don’t want to drive to Carbondale. The path along the river had beautiful spots to soak up the tranquility of nature, including benches to sit. They were great spots to see the leaves changing on the mountainside while enjoying the sounds of the river. It was a really great way to see the fall colors and was exactly what we needed. Thank you for the hospitality, we will certainly be back!

Get Away from it all!

Perfect place to get away from everything. Clean, comfortable beds, quiet. Seating in the living area needs to be updated and is very uncomfortable. Other than that we loved it.

Perfect location!

We loved the ease of taking day trips just an hour away from the property - Black Canyon, Glenwood Springs and Aspen. It was very comfortable to "come home" to at the end of our days. Sitting in the hot tub watching the stars was also a plus!

Close enough, but far enough

Over all it was a great stay. Some of the reviews and description of the closeness and access to outside amenities are a little off. Nearest town for groceries I'd say was no more than 20 minutes. Glennwood Springs was also pretty close by at 30-40 minutes. Which is about how far the smoking bb-q place was. This cabin was great and had everything you needed for a long stay. Super quite, relaxing and so many stars at night. It is a gorgeous property and the 2 hot tubs were a nice perk. The property was close enough to lots of fun things to do and food options, but far enough away to be one with nature with few to no disturbances. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Best Cabin!

This is our second time staying here! We love this cabin and property. The hot spring hot tub is incredible. The views are gorgeous during the day and the stars are amazing and night. The property is secluded and provides a perfect environment to relax. We will be back!
