A beautiful and private setting in a modern space with huge views, tons of light, and luxurious finishes. Features an open plan kitchen and living space with a wall of glass onto the deck perched directly above the river. The master bedroom features a walk in closet and oversized full bath with dual vanities. Downstairs there is a second bedroom and media room, each with direct outdoor access to covered seating on the river bank. A gorgeous hot tub overlooking the river awaits at days end.

Excellent property! Beautiful views and everything you need to be comfortable along with an outdoor space for your dog. Really enjoyed the hot tub. The location is great - for heading to Aspen or Glenwood Springs or just staying right there in the Roaring Fork Area. Highly recommend!

My husband and I just stayed at your property during our wedding week and could not be more impressed! My husband is an avid fly fisher and loved being by the river and having the fishing artwork. Flexible with check-in/ check-out times, easy to communicate with. We’d love to come back for a future stay!

This place is outstanding! If you like being out in nature hearing the river by the house is amazing. At night it was so soothing to go to sleep to the sound of the river and wake up in the mornings to drink coffee or hot chocolate and take in the view from the balcony is just so relaxing. The house had everything we needed it, very modern and super clean. The location is perfect- it is tucked away from the city noise but very close to everything- you’ll find stores and restaurants near by. Fly fishing was fun, while getting to the bottom is quiet a hike using the stairs leading to the river, you can also use a different public entrance to the river nearby by the highway- 3 minute drive on the right hand side. We drove to Aspen about a 25-30 minute drive and that was not an inconvenience, we also drove to Maroon Bells and the hike and views were great! We took our small Shitzu dog and he also enjoyed himself- he loved the cool, rainy weather. This place was also very accommodating for him as well, they had a separate enclosed area for him to go play or poop and the best thing we found there for him- it had a doggy bath tub so that we can give him a bath after returning from our hikes- that was very convenient and kept him clean to go in the house. Overall this place is indeed Exceptional! The owners live next door but give you your space and also promptly respond to anything you might need.

My husband and I lived in all different areas of the Roaring Fork Valley for 22 years. We moved away in 2022. This is the most beautiful, peaceful property we have ever visited, much less stayed at. It is used only as a guest house so absolutely no clutter. It is very clean, nicely supplied and the VIEW!!! My daughter and her 2 1/2 year old stayed for a week and the separate bedroom/bath/living areas worked wonderfully. The hot tub is new, spacious, clean and therapeutic. We loved being so close to Crown Mountain Park with the amazing playground and off leash dog park. And Willits amenities were so close. Friends I knew who had lived in Aspen all their lives were surprised such a little gem existed. We would most definitely go back.

Scenic Retreat

This is a lovely property overlooking the Roaring Forks River. The layout was ideal for our group of two couples. Each floor had a bedroom and bathroom, with the main living area and kitchen upstairs. We enjoyed the views from the hot tub after a day of skiing!

Spectacular property right on the Roaring Fork!

Would absolutely stay here again. Home is thoughtfully designed with beautiful views, plenty of space, and natural light. Owner lives on property in main house but we never saw them. Great features include the 2 EV chargers, a dog door into a gated area for your pooch, huge open doorway, and convenient hot tub. Master shower is like a spa. Kitchen is well stocked with all the necessities. I’d give this place a 99/100. If I could find anything wrong it’s that maybe the kitchen chairs are hard/uncomfortable and the TVs are a little small but you aren’t there to watch TV are you? Great location close to both downtown Carbondale and Basalt. We stayed here for a ski week and while the drive in wasn’t the most convenient, it was easy and the home made the stay better. Highly recommend!

Amazing!

Everything was absolute fantastic about this. The place is clean and very well maintained. The location is excellent. The views from the house are breathtaking — it’s right in the mountains and on a gorgeous river. The property owner checked in and made sure everything was good. When we had one question, he was quickly responsive and helpful. We would come back here in a minute, and probably will!

Perfect location, gorgeous property, wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Great location close to basalt, carbondale and Aspen. The property is gorgeous and very quiet and relaxing. All the amenities that you need are provided and it still feels private even though it’s a guesthouse. We will definitely be returning!

Grand view!

We had a wonderful week in August on the Roaring Fork enjoying the beautiful sunsets and moonrises and their reflections on the river. The osprey nest can be viewed from the deck and we enjoyed watching them fly around and fishing. The house itself is stylish and very well laid out. There are floor to ceiling windows / doors with amazing views seen from the kitchen and sitting area and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. All household supplies (and then some) are in abundance and labeled. The owner, Nick, was very responsive vie text to any questions or concerns. Hope to stay again soon!

Perfect stay

We stayed for a little under three weeks this summer and wish it could have been even longer. Even though it’s a guest house on the property of the main house it feels very independent of the main property. The design is contemporary, clean and open. The views are spectacular. They thought of everything when designing this space and nailed it! This was our first time staying at this end of the valley and really enjoyed all it had to offer. Biked and even ran to Carbondale and basalt. The grocery is so convenient we could run over every night to grab something to cook. We loved taking our dogs to the crown mountain dog park (under a mile down the street) to play and swim with all the other Dogs. And my husband discovered the expansive mountain biking for the first time that is also a short distance from the house. Can’t thank our host more for sharing the space they so beautifully and thoughtfully designed! Much appreciated it all! Jen

Home away from Home

Our stay here as a family of 4 was perfect. The setting is epic with the river and mountains. Sitting on the patio or in the hot tub with the river roaring is so relaxing that you simply don't want to leave. The house was very well stocked from kitchen necessities to paper products and linens. The spaces are open with thoughtful decor to enhance the overall modern aspect. We enjoyed our time immensely and hope to be back in the future!
