Just lovely

I came in from the US to see my boyfriend who lives in Wales. We stayed at the urban space unit and was most thrilled with everything about the unit. Great location, very clean, reasonable price. Customer service was friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend to friends and would stay here again.

Lovely apartment very clean great location lovely staff the only thing for us was we found the cleaning fee was expensive and that it had to be paid separately and it would have been nice if there had been some dish washing soap as we where only there for 3 nights and we felt putting on a dish washer for two plates and cups was wasting water and a couple of pods for the washing machine since there is a washing machine which was great and as we’d been travelling for 3 weeks I did need to do some laundry even though this place is lovely i would think twice about staying again because of the cost of the cleaning fee

We stayed here for 6 nights whilst my husband was completing a charity walk from Swansea to Cardiff, so this was a good spot. There is a free car park within five minutes walk, very safe. There is both an Asda and Morrisons (driving distance) both less than five miles away. The apartment is very well equipped for pots, pans and various other kitchen utensils, which makes cooking very easy. Full size fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, coffee maker as well as toaster, kettle etc. No need to take shampoo etc as large bottles are provided. Next to the apartment is The Goodshed which has an array of eateries/bars (noisy if you are in number 1 as it is next door and the cigarette holder is on the wall directly outside the apartment. Plenty to see and do around Barry, train station is 10 minutes to walk, very reasonably priced. There were a few minor things like no hand towel, pans had had none stick taken off by use of metal spoon, but in all honesty nothing that would detract from a great place to stay. Can definitely recommend it, would go again if in the area.

We feel we need to give some constructive feedback, first impression the apartment was clean and tidy, but when we open the cooker we found a baking tray full of fat. In the bathroom the towel holder was missing and just screw holes where one used to be. The description about the apartment is also incorrect it says there is outside space with patio furniture, this is obviously a general description for other apartments as ours didn't have outside space and we wouldn't have booked the apartment knowing tgere was no outside space.

Excellent location. Lots of space and well equipped. Thick bath towels but no hand towels. The wall clock had no batteries in it. The remote controls didn’t work as the batteries were dead in one and wrong way round in the other. £10 per day extra for car parking is expensive.

The property is in great condition, really cozy and comfortable, close to a few good restaurants and walking distance to the beach. I would recommend better instructions to find the car park

Fantastic apartment!

Fantastic stay, lovely modern apartment in a good location. “Goodsheds” is right next door with street food, drinks & shops. Lots of other restaurants within a 5min walk. Approx 7mins walk to Barry train station. 15mins walk to Barry Island/Beach etc.

very nice clean place BUT NOT RECOMMENDED for anyone under 60 years, No place to unload, Steep narrow stairs. Very poor directions from managers, Parking is too expensive, down the street, in open field, and hard to find, Flat is on busy street with fast traffic and parking usually taken, Flat has poor signage and NO number__so hard to find and GPS no helpful.

Very comfortable accommodation in a nice area. Parking onsite. Can be arranged for £10/day, but there is a free car park within 2-3 minute walk. Short term car parking available outside property 2hrs. for unloading your car. Asda supermarket nearby for fuel.
