「Brand new renovated cottage, in the old bunker house, absolutely ideal for 2 guests with breakfast included. Clean , perfect food & service, what else do you need.」

「Everything was fine really. Just the carpets were very old and stained. Great breakfast and dinner was nice. Beds need a little upgrade.」

「Friendly staff including one who formerly and by sheer coincidence worked at the good old boarding school I proudly attended years ago. Overall, I’m extremely impressed with everything including the high standards location and amenities. Cleanliness were very good apart from some surfaces needed a little dusting and one of the bedroom lamps didn’t work though again, overall the standards are extremely high and I’d certainly recommend future guests and I’d certainly return.」

「Lovely cottage, warm and really well equipped. We had a lovely few days there and would definitely return」

「Location was ideal for an overnight stay on the way to Scotland. Home cooked food in the restaurant was great. Parking was very convenient.」

「Fabulous barn for our family Christmas get together. It was warm comfortable and super spacious and the hot tub was a lovely bonus in the wintry weather. 」
