"Big property with pools, playground, flamingos, docks and a water slide into the ocean. Rudolpho was fantastic and helped us with food drinks and any questions we had"

"The host was incredibly kind and hospitable. She made sure that we had everything that we needed to feel comfortable. We were also given some pretty great recommendations for activities. We were very happy that we listened to the suggestions because we had a ball! Breakfast was lovely and fresh every morning. They are very punctual and clean in the house, so don’t be surprised when breakfast is cleaned up promptly as the end time hits.

"I booked and paid on expedia, upon arrival the clerk tried to say i had not paid, then he tried to charge us more saying i had not paid the full price.
I had to show him my records before he finally decided i had paid...it felt like a scam, he did apologize but it still felt like a deliberate act.
Additionally while in the room, staff members would periodically enter the room and take pictures, i founf this to be disturbing. "

"Pros: kitchen was well-equipped, the salsa class on Thursday was so fun (!!), hostel felt secure and people (both staff and travellers) were warm and friendly, felt completely fine walking to and from the hostel at night even though it’s right on the edge of Getsemaní & the more tourist friendly historic centre. The one con: we got bedbugs from there. It happens when you travel, what can ya do! If that is something that is a big no for you, keep that in mind. If not, wash your clothes & shoes...

"The receptionist spoke no English.
The room had no safe.
A cockroach was in the room.
There was no “Tranquility” at Freedom Beach. Not anything near what was expected. The only quiet time is after 20:00 hours when the crowds which start arriving at 9:00, have gone home. Disappointed. The bathroom was so poor, I couldn’t take a shower or sit on the toilet. "

"The staff was amazing during our stay! Especially the concierge, Luis, he was able to help us book 2 more tours that we were interested in. The breakfast had a wide variety everyday and the pool view was beautiful. Additionally, our room was clean and when we needed something it was easy to contact the main lobby staff for items. Truly enjoyed our stay there. The hotel is near various local restaurants and getting an uber was easy. "
"The staff was amazing, it was close to everything (walkable) and they even accommodated a late check out due to our flight being delayed (at no charge)!! Would recommend this place. "
"Property is a few steps to the beach. Close to many store, restaurant etc.
close distance to ciudad amurallada 15 min driving time and 20 minutes to cruise port manga. Excelent. "
