「It was a very nice, quiet place. Very clean, with everything we needed. There are lots of places for hiking and taking walks, or just sitting outside and enjoying nature. 」

What made the trip so memorable was getting recommendations from the owner Amy when she came to the cabin stoking the outside heater that piped in heat to cabin. Cannot over emphasize the need to do research on places to explore while there, because this cabin is in a very rural area. Amy's recommendations on where we should visit meant everything. 「It's an older home so the floors were a bit uneven, but all the furnishings were very nice, loved the walk-in showers. I did need to use the complimentary earplugs because it's directly beside the railroad track and there are frequent trains, including at night, but with those in I slept great, comfy beds. The road into Eggleston and the driveway to the cottage are fairly steep and winding, I was glad I had AWD. Highly recommend walking over to the Pallisades for dinner, it was SO GOOD. Wi-fi...

「My husband and I were in town to pick up our son from Virginia Tech. We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel which was comfortable and clean. We were taken aback though when it came to the breakfast which we thought was included but instead it was almost $14 per person for the whole buffet. Definitely not worth it for just some eggs or toast. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.」

One suggestion, maybe i overlooked it but state that cell phone connectivity is low due to area. If you have a wifi code you should include it in welcome letter as when you get there the service is very low to non existing.」
