"Amazing hotel to stay for a wonderful December snowboarding trip. Everyone was very nice and helpful in every aspect of our stay (shout out to Thierry for his care with our luggage, shuttle and car). The facility is top notch, well worth the money, you won’t be disappointed. Ski shop/rental was amazing every day and the lockers were so convenient. Overall a great experience for holiday vacation "
Apartment in central Val Thorens on the slopes - magnificent view!
6/10 Okay
"The vieuw is greet. P1 is near the building. The appartment to little for many adults. (You cannot stand at the big bedroom and there is no window upstairs). Also its difficult for everyone to take a shower, a verry quick shower is possible. The cleaning was not verry well. My son in law was verry short of breath in the house. Unfortunatly, the noise from people afther visit a club was heavy, till 4.00 am."
"Had an amazing stay at the altapura, read a few reviews a few days before we went and were worried, but it was great. Main complaints were about how hot the rooms were, which were understandable, but opening the window solved that. The other critique we read was about the restaurants and choice of food for half board. Breakfast was buffet and had a great selection. Dinner you get 65 euros contribution each evening towards food, which you can choose from the menu of the 3 different restaurants they have. European, Japanese and a cheese place. The food is all cooked fresh and to a great standard. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the hotel is in my opnion in the perfect location, ski in skin out, not far from several ski lifts, but not in thr centre of town so you don't get all the noise and footfall. Beds were really comfy, overall had a great experience and will be back next year! "
"Well-equipped and comfortable apartment in an excellent location. Ski locker downstairs with piste access was very convenient; boot hooks in the apartment itself. Short walk or ski from the top of the Cairn gondola. Great views of the mountain. Warm space in a quiet street. We enjoyed ourselves. Note there were two double beds in the upstairs room. No laundry facilities onsite; we used laundromat in town centre."
