"This property is situated right on the lake with gorgeous restful views of the lake. The pool was a must for us & we loved the outdoor pool with views of the lake. The morning breakfast buffet was fantastic with beautifully layed out daily choices. The staff are professional & aim to please. The lobby and rooms have a beautiful tasteful up to date decor. A lot of pride is taken at this hotel."

"Absolutely charming! Wonderful sized room and good size bathroom (it is Europe though!). And the patio area with a water view is amazing! A must-stay! Be prepared if you visit in the summer-no A/C. This will only matter if there’s a heat wave, otherwise a fan they provide is sufficient."

"This hotel maintains the high standards of Steigenberger. There is pride in the craft, thus the staff are helpful, professional, and pleasant. It is a little island (Insel) refuge, and pays homage in many ways to its origin as a Dominican cloister. Get a room facing the Bodensee for the full experience, and always include the breakfast!"

"The room was clean and comfortable, The staff were friendly and helpful. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but staff helpfully supplied a kettle when requested. Hotel was a pleasant 20 minutes walk along the river to the old town and public transport options are also available, A very pleasant stay."
