Both towns offer a range of shops and restaurants. Each has its own COOP supermarket. Panzano is home to the famous butcher Dario Cecchini, known throughout Italy and beyond, with a traditional butcher’s shop and his celebrated restaurant Officina della Bistecca. In Castellina, the Gelateria di Castellina is not to be missed. It is known for some of the best ice cream in the area. Siena, San Gimignano, Arezzo and Florence are all ideal destinations for day trips.
Originally built as a working farmhouse, the villa has been carefully restored and transformed into an elegant holiday home.
