  • * In 2022/2023 the villa was tastefully renovated and furnished to a high standard *

    The terraced Villa Bougainvillea is located in a spacious, exclusive ground on a steep south-facing slope. Inside the fenced 3000 sqm property there is parking space for two cars. Outside, on the street, is enough space for further cars.

    The Villa comprises three levels: the main house and two apartment levels. You have the possibility to rent the Villa for 4, 6 or 8 people (9 upon request). Even renting the Villa for fewer people, you rent the Villa exclusively. The perfect privacy is guaranted.

    In the main house there are two bedrooms with king-size beds, individual bathrooms, a spacious living room, a guest toilet, a fully equipped new kitchen, the dining room, a shady patio and the panoramic terrace. A new staircase into the garden was built 2023. From the panoramic terrace you can enjoy a stunning view of the Mediterranean sea, the bay of Naxos and Mt. Etna. The evening offers a fascinating panorama of lights.

    On the middle-level and pool-level are two beautiful apartments with 2 double beds, individual bathrooms and small living rooms. Access to the apartments is either by the central or by the side open stairs.

    Baby travel beds and baby equipment can be set up on request. We want you to travel lightly!
    All rooms have air conditioning.
    We use bed linen and towels made from 100% organic cotton.

    The pool (~11.5 x 4,5 m) is located on the lowest level and is well protected from prying eyes due to its location.

    A car is recommanded but not a necessity, public transportation is available in close proximity and you can walk down the breathtaking Madonna della Rocca path to Taormina and get back up by bus or Taxi (15-20 Euro one way for a Taxi).

    The exceptional architectural concept of the Villa is designed for 6 to 8 people, offers lots of possibilities for privacy or to enjoy time in company. Ideal for friends, couples, families with children or extended families.
    Enjoy this authentic Sicilian atmosphere!

    Family members, friends and guests are still talking about the high degree of recovery of a stay in the villa.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous villa. The home was beautiful, spotless, and very well maintained. The owners and Silvana were excellent to work with—friendly, responsive, and accommodating throughout our stay.One of the highlights was the incredible view of Mount Etna. We were fortunate enough to witness an eruption, and having a perfect view made the experience truly unforgettable.Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Taormina. The property was very clean and the view was stunning. The communication was excellent and both the check in and check out process was very easy.We had a wonderful stay and loved exploring both Taormina and Castelmola. We walked much of the time but also took advantage of both taxis and buses.The pool was a welcome spot after sightseeing and the shaded terrace was a great spot for relaxing with a good book.

What a wonderful time we had at this villa , we were met by Silvana who showed us around and explained everything to us , she was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We could not have wished for a better place to stay to celebrate my 80th birthday and my son’s 50th. We were a family of seven, ages ranging from 19 to 80 years young.The villa is superb in every way: the decor and the furnishings and four lovely bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms. As soon as you walk into the villa, (to be greeted by Silvana the wonderful housekeeper), You know your stay is going to be just perfect.After visiting the amphitheatre, Taormina and Mount Etna, it was fabulous to be able to cool off in the large pool. And the views from the villa are stunning including watching Mount Etna erupt most nights.I really cannot recommend the villa enough and we would love to return for our next big family vacation. Thank you Daniela and Raphael for sharing your beautiful home with us.

The house is really wonderful. We were a family with three teenagers so the ability for everyone to have their own space and also be together was perfect. The position was great easy walk down to Taormina and up to Castelmola. The view from the terrace is spectacular and the garden with fruit trees, birds and lizards was lovely. The pool and AC were much appreciated in the heat. The house is amazingly well equipped, everything has been thought of. We are so grateful to Daniela for great communication and information and putting us in touch with a driver who was really helpful. Most especial thanks to Silvana who looks after the house and went out of her way to help, booking a restaurant for when we arrived and looking after things at the house while we made a side trip to Siracusa. We can’t recommend this house enough and hope to return.

The Villa is absolutely gorgeous and very clean. the setting is breath-taking. Our hosts were extremely communicative as is their property manager-Silvie. It is about a 5-10 minute drive from Taormina. If you need a TV, there are none(Which was great for us since we were exploring). The only negative is the water pressure/hot water.It is great unless several people bath at same time. We truly loved our stay and would stay at the Villa again.

Magical property nestled into the side of the hillsides beautiful scenic surroundings. Wonderful hosts and easy check in. Our gracious hosts even suggested the best Chef, Fabio, who made us 2 dinners during our week week's stay. Each meal was carefully curated and paired with Local Sicilian Wines. Also, it is an easy uphill walk to Castelmola for pizza or breakfast and 20-30 minute nice walk down to Taormina. Quick uber up, though! This place is perfect for 4 couples or 2-3 families. Each bedroom has a private ensuite bathroom, all newly remodeled. Just terrific place. Missing Sicily and can’t wait to return! Loved everyday!

The property was as advertised, pictures match the actual home. The owner and property manager were easy to communicate with and helpful for arrival and departure. We were referred to Andrea a driver that was nothing but reliable, friendly and amazing! He picked us up whenever we text him and got back to us right away. It was like we had our own private driver as we did not have a rental car. Our favorite place to dine and hang out end up being Castelmola! We were there for our son‘s wedding and had the welcome party at the Una Hotel, wedding ceremony at the Taormino Gardens (Villa Comunale di Taormina) and reception at the Atlantis Bay Hotel. Perfect stay for a multigenerational family in close to Taormina! Pool and views were gorgeous. We were connected to a driver who also made the stay much more manageable for the baby and older guests since the way up to the villa was very hilly. We were a group of 8 friends and we loved our stay at Villa Bougainvillea. The house, view and pool were beautiful, clean and comfortable. The hosts were very communicative and Silvana the property manager was awesome The walk down to Taormina is fine if you take it slowly, we even walked back up once. We did day trips to other places and were very happy coming home to jump in the swimming pool to cool off and enjoy the sanctuary of the villa. I highly recommend a stay at this lovely property.

Hill top abode

Beautiful property with exquisite views of Taormina and Etna. On our last night we had quite a show of Etna erupting in the night sky. The house is perfect for a multigenerational family with separate living spaces and then large communal spaces. Daniel and Raphael are great hosts with connections to drivers and private chefs. We had a memorable family trip that I will cherish.
