“This was a great stay! It was luxurious to have so much space! Conveniently located to all the attractions in Amboise, and a winery a literal stone’s throw away. One downside was no internet or wifi, and within the house the signal was poor- had to pop outside a few times when internet was needed. We would definitely stay again! ”

“The setting is absolutely stunning. We had great weather and access to the river was terrific. Such a relaxing place. Lots of wildlife around including European beavers. An incredible range of things to do in the surrounding area and for the British a relatively easy drive down from the channel ports. ”

“We enjoyed the serenity of the location, the nature and beauty of the house and gardens. The home was secure with a gate. The animals were a bonus. We loved the old house and the antique furniture and the level of furnishings. The accommodation is very spacious and comfortable. What we found a bit odd was no curtains in the kitchen/living room and lounge areas but we have experienced the same thing in another cottage in France and therefore presume that this is the standard. Good sized bathroom and kitchen with quality appliances, fast wifi, comfortable bed, pleasant patio.The only item that we might have liked is a more ergonomic living room couch but that's a very minor issue. Ruhige Lage in einer Seitenstraße ca. 18 Minuten Fussweg vom Schloss entfernt (Lage entspricht nicht den Angaben). Restaurants und Innenstadt sind gut zu Fuss zu erreichen. “Wir waren zu zweit unterwegs und haben von diesem Standort aus viele Radtouren zu verschiedenen Schlössern unternommen. Wir waren mit Rennrädern dort und die Straßen und Radwege waren dafür insgesamt sehr gut befahrbar. Dafür war die Wohnung perfekt. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.”

“Lovely and very well equipped fire. The pool area is great and secure for children. Kim and Jeremy were extremely welcoming, helpful and very communicative. we stayed with our two very young children and there was plenty of baby equipment (high chair, baby bath, stair gate etc) available. The location is rural but within an easy drive to lots of local amenities and chateaux. Would definitely recommend as a base to explore the area!”

“What a magnificent property! Too many luxuries to count. The decor is quintessential French but the attention to detail in the decor is breathtaking. We are taking some ideas back to our own homes. We would recommend any group of 8 or more visiting the Loire Valley to stay here. Our host is a striking and caring person who I feel truly wants her guests to get the most from the property.
