It’s really easy to get into the city centre on the bus (which is very cheap) in just under 10 mins, but it’s also a very pleasant c.30 mins walk into town, which goes past the fantastic San Benedetto indoor market, if that’s your thing. Andrea is also an absolutely fantastic host - he made me feel really welcome and also gave me some useful advice on how to get around the city easily. Would heartily recommend staying……
