「A beautiful cabin surrounded in rich, forest with hiking trails. The property located is tucked away, which makes you feel secluded. Its an amazing and calm experience. The other campers were kind and said hello, when passing by. Fresh food markets nearby. Great nearby cities for more exploration. This was the best and safest experience in a cabin. The maintenance and upkeep is noticeable and I felt special staying in this cabin. This was an epic time away from home. Thank you. 」

「Amazing spot! Simple, quiet, with a sprinkle of local lobster boats humming by. Perfect weather highlighted the sky, the water and the sunsets. I put away the phone (unreliable internet) opened up a good book, visited the nearby sand beach for a cold plunge, and took in some local theater. This place is a gift for the soul. 」

「Friendly homeowner. Exactly what it says. Its a farm home with Turkeys. goats. chicks. and Ducks. Beautiful property to just walk and enjoy the peace of the mountains and nature. Great hiking area. Close enough to store restraunts or Dunkin donuts. 」

「We had such a wonderful week at the cottage! It was very comfortable, clean and well stocked. Having Branch Lake a few steps from the house was amazing. We swam and canoed several days and explored Ellsworth, Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Of course, we couldn’t miss the popovers at the Jordan Pond House. We loved the cottage (as well as Maggie from next door) and hope to return. 」

「We (3 adults and a Dalmatian) rented the Cozy Cabin for 10 days. It was great. There was enough space for our stuff and for us to relax and sleep comfortably. The bed sleeps 2 and there’s an air mattress for the third person. The cabin itself is nice, and the view is beautiful too. My husband really enjoyed how close it is to water and it gave him and Bailey (dog) some nice walks. This isn’t a place for partying but it’s awesome for relaxing. 「What a special place! Close to everything but tucked away at the end of a private road. The view is beautiful and it’s a very private and peaceful setting. Our dogs loved it and we really appreciate the gates around the deck for them. And the addition of fall mums around the property was such a nice touch! Chris the host couldn’t have been nicer. Would absolutely stay here again!」

「This old house was amazing! Plenty of room for the 21 of us. Such unique interior design, I think we counted 68 doors on the interior! The kitchen looked small from the pictures but there is an over abundance of storage areas. Probably the best stocked I have ever had in a vacation rental. Easy to get to Acadia too!」

「The house and grounds were very private. located overlooking a quiet lake. Although neighboring houses were in reasonably close proximity, the area was very quiet. The house was well stocked and comfortable for the two of us.. Opportunity was available for both indoor and outdoor dining. Bugs were at a minimum, Shhh!.We spent time exploring Hosmer Pond each day. 「 Beautiful property! Stayed here with my 80 year old mom, 3 kids and a dog. Bunkhouse had everything we needed. The whole property is very well maintained and clean. The screened in porch was perfect for evening relaxation. The location right on the lake was exactly what we were looking for. Sunrise and sunset kayaking was absolutely heavenly. We saw family of Loons and Heron fishing by the shore. Highly recommend!」
