We really enjoyed our stay at the Savoy and using the rooftop hot tub was really nice. The bed was super comfy but we were a little disappointed that not all of the fancy shower jets could be used. Overall we had a great stay.

There are only 4 parking spots for the hotel so be prepared to pay for day parking and to move your vehicle multiple times. Also there’s no elevator. Other than that the hotel was great! Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at the Savoy. Our room was excellent, loved the vintage feel. The well equipped common area was nice to have and the rooftop patio and hot tub was a unique touch. Location was great, easy walk to the many restaurants in Nelson. Looking forward to staying there again.

Our favourite hotel when coming to Nelson. We love being able to reserve a private time for the hot tub. The hot tub has not been fully clean the last 2 times we visted. There was some sand on the seats plus bird poop. The rooms are unique and always very clean.

Such an awesome space! The lounge area was great, and having coffee / tea / bottled water in that space as well was so nice. I had the best sleep in a very long time on the coziest bed. We will be back for sure!

The room was so small there was only room for the bed with little clearance to the wall. If one wanted to sit down you had to sit in the common area outside the room. The parking was terrible. The hotel only has 6 parking spots otherwise you need to park on the street which you have to feed a parking meter before 5pm. The parking spots had a charge of $10 a day. There is no elevator and I have limited mobility so dragging the suitcases up the stairs was a nuisance. There is no complementary breakfast.

This place isn’t worth your time. This is an old hostel pretending to be a modern boutique hotel. Check the other reviews. When they say “limited parking” they have less spots than rooms so you have to find street parking and feed the meter your entire stay. Hot tub closed but didn’t bother to tell us. They tell you there is no elevator but don’t mention that the entire hotel is two flights of stairs up. No check in staff, nobody to check you out. No loading zone to drop off bags. The manager, who will reply to this with all of the same excuses as all the other reviews, doesn’t care and isn’t doing anything to fix it. They us AI to reply to emails rather than a human response. It was a really unpleasant stay. It’s a great down. Beautiful area. Stay somewhere else
