“Very clean, comfortable and lots of thoughtful touches. Close to EVERYTHING. Please note that the ‘2 twin beds’ is NOT a trundle bed. There are two 4” mattresses stacked on top of each other on the one frame. You need to take one of the mattresses off and put it on the floor to create the ‘2 twin beds’. That being said, the mattresses were comfortable and there were plenty of sheets and blankets. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.”

“Loved it. Private and quiet with a great view. Bring your 4 x 4 truck/SUV”

“The Mint Cottage was perfect and exactly what we hoped for! The cottage was super clean, comfortable, and had every possible thing we could’ve needed. The hosts thought of everything! We loved it and would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks for the lovely welcome, treats, and hospitality John and Diane! :)”

“We enjoyed our stay at this property and it was clean, well equipped with all the modern conveniences, and provided a nice alternative to a hotel. It was a good fit for us with our small dog and was a short drive to the places we wanted to visit. We were there for a long weekend and it is along a busy street so the only drawback was the traffic noise during the day.”

“I enjoyed the location. The host was very nice to deal with. House is so clean. Loved it”

“Great place - clean and very easy parking. The bed was comfortable too!”

“Lovely stay, convenient location to town and to the National Park. The house is well done and beautiful”

“Great location to explore the Shenandoah National Forest and Shenandoah Valley for spring break. The size of the house was perfect for our two families. The kids loved their room with twin beds and many games and toys. There was a seat for the baby and a pack and play, as well.Everyone enjoyed having breakfast on the back deck. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed to cook and enjoy meals but we were close enough to Luray to go out for any meals we wanted. It was also nice having toiletries……

“Wonderful house and great setting; will go back!”

“We rented this home for four nights, and it was an amazing property with a front view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It has both a front and rear yard. Waking up in the morning was beautiful, especially sitting on the front porch watching the farm animals do their daily routines. Looking over the goats and cattle against the horizon of the mountain was stunning. The home itself was immaculate; the bathrooms, kitchen, and bedrooms were spotless. Thank you, Carrie, for meeting our expectations. We……

“The house was very charming and cozy. It met all of our wants (2 bedrooms, king bed in primary, fenced in yard for dog, hot tub & fire pit, close to attractions). The host was very polite and attentive, and gave excellent recommendations for food (which were all in walking distance!). Could use a little more seating in the living room and a few more items in the kitchen (wine glasses, better skillets, sheet pans), but overall the house really has everything you need. We had a great Spring Break……

“Great house in downtown Luray! We loved hanging out on the porch, both for morning coffee and happy hour. The house was very clean and had comfortable beds. It was fun to watch the trains go by, and the whistles didn’t bother us at all. It was nice to be within walking distance to restaurants. It was great to be in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The host was very quick to respond to questions beforehand and checked in to make sure everything was going well. If you are looking for a……
