The private, gated pool was a huge plus that made us feel like we had our private paradise. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made cooking so easy. We highly recommend ordering dinner from the care-taker for the first night. It was delicious and a warm welcome our first night there. We lived exploring……

“The property is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. However, the listing was a bit misleading—only one bedroom and the bunkhouse were accessible, not the three bedrooms and baths advertised. There was no access to a washer/dryer, and the upstairs shower had very low water pressure. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom also lacked window coverings, which made privacy an issue. That said, the host was responsive and assured us these concerns would be addressed with the property manager.”

The location is truly unbeatable—private, peaceful, and just steps from our very own stretch of pristine beach. Every morning we woke up to turquoise water, and we could snorkel right out front where we spotted parrot fish, grouper, snappers, rays, and so much more along the beautiful reefs. The cottage’s caretaker was incredibly kind and helpful, giving us great tips on other gorgeous, secluded……

“We had a great stay! Nancy was easy to communicate with and answered questions promptly. Nikki was great with on island support. The house was as advertised, comfortable, clean and all we could ever ask for! The kitchen was well appointed and we cooked our own meals almost exclusively. There were beach chairs, umbrellas and kayaks. Now for a quick island reality check. Cat island is not Nassau, Cancun or Miami. We have been there 4 times now. “The perfect vacation home depends on what your perfect vacation is. This was MY perfect vacation home. We wanted comfort, and seclusion and we got it! We stayed early November of 2025 and never saw more than two people out walking the beach. There are a couple other homes within view but they were empty. The deck looking out over the ocean was definitely a highlight but the inside was very nice also. The upstairs and downstairs can be rented separately but we rented both just to make sure……

The living area (kitchen, dining table comfy seating) all share an unobstructed view of powder white sand beach, gorgeous blue water dotted with coral formations and palm trees and sea grass along the sand dunes. The expansive ocean facing deck runs the full width of the villa and can be accessed from the 2 spacious ensuite bedrooms as well as the living area. Another plus is the restaurant at Greenwood Resort which is a 20 minute walk along……
