"I had such a wonderful experience staying here I felt at home! The view is amazing! Swimming in the pool and looking out at the view was a highlight. The owner is such a friendly person who is there to help whenever there is anything that I needed! There was really cute bunnies (mango and waffles) overall I will be back I truly enjoyed my trip to Costa Rica. The room was clean and very spacious. "

"Clean rooms , a bit dated but ok"

"Arrived around midnight after a flight delay. Check-in went well. No drinks or snacks available. Paid $2 USD for a 500 ml bottle of water purchased at the front desk. About 4 minutes from the airport, so lots of noise. Turned on the AC to drown out noise, which worked well. Very comfy bed. Airport shuttle driver was on time and very pleasant the next morning at 6 a.m. to take us back to the airport. This is not the hotel's fault, but beware of greedy taxi drivers. We even asked inside the airport for an orange taxi as the posted signs said this was who to go with to avoid taxi scams, and the driver wanted $15 USD. Another coupke was going to Mango as well, so we agreed to $15 if we could share the ride. The driver appeared to agree. When we got to Mango and I paid him $15, he wanted another $15 for the other couple. In the end he left with just $15 which was more than enough for 4 minute ride. Mango had said that the ride should cost $5."

"Only stayed for 1 night but as always Holiday Express met all my expectations. The woman who checked me in was very pleasant and shared alot of helpful information to assist me."

"Airport shuttle comes every half hour, and the staff from the airport was very helpful in directing people where to go. Nice big clean room. The only thing I was super disappointed in was the pool. The pool is the smallest pool I’ve ever seen at a hotel. Good thing we were able to use the pool at the sister hotel, Double Tree, which was much nicer. All in all, it was a good experience "

"It’s a nice place to start or end your trip. Easy to get to the airport. The property has nice trails you can walk and a swimming pool with views of the valley. A few areas for improvement: the rooms are looking a bit dated, we had dirty/stained towel and pillows which was quite off-putting. The rooms are noisy as there is no air conditioning so instead the room has windows for air flow. This works fine for cooling but it does mean you can hear the planes very loudly. "
