“Overall, it was a beautiful, family-run hotel that was clean, well-maintained, and had excellent facilities. The pool was nice and the breakfast was delicious and diverse, combining local and international flavors. Highly recommended for retreats and stays near Heraklion, Crete”

“We were delighted with our stay at this lovely family run establishment, it was so clean, friendly and central we couldnt have asked for more! I requested a room with a nice outlook and we got a pool view which was truly appreciated! Sadly my friend had a bad accident in the sea on day two so our holiday wasnt how we wouldve wished for! But everyone was so kind to her! We will be back and will definitely stay here again !”

“We where really surprised in a positive way. The staff (maianna) was more then friendly and helpfull. The breakfast room was kept verry clean. The breakfast was super with lots of choise from the buffet. Our room was on the south side looking at the not to nearby street. Having the sun in the afternoon ws a bit overkill. Thr room could use some rennovation. But still good for greece. Overall a verry pleasant stay.”

“Hôtel très sympa,belle piscine,personnelle agréable et professionnel. Très bien situé. Heraklion a 30 mn, plage a 5 mn . Accès à pied au centre ville animé avec restaurant, boutique etc.”

“Ce fut un plaisir de séjourner une dizaine de jours dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est serviable et la chambre était top. Bémol concernant le bruit... Les voisins sont souvent bruyants (en même temps c'est Malia, donc on y fait la fête !), et c'est très mal isolé... on entend absolument tout donc pas top si on veut se reposer. Sinon la piscine est super, et les hôtes adorables.”

“The room was clean, but that’s about it. The main issue is the disconnect between how this hotel is advertised and what it actually is. It’s a fine, middle of the road 3 star with a decent view (ish) and uncomfortable beds, and a number of other annoying but minor flaws. It is not a five star or anything close to that. There is just no objective reality to that claim. The experience made me question the reliability of hotels.com’s system for rating and ensuring accuracy. For a mid to low 3 star……

“Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans l'hôtel. C'était très reposant et pourtant nous avons deux enfants en bas âge. Tout est organisé pour les familles. Notre fils qui est plutôt réservé demandait d'aller au kids club. Les piscines sont superbes. La vue incroyable. La nourriture délicieuse et le personnel fantastique.”

“Ankunft nachts von HER kommend. Google Maps ist völlig überfordert, aber die benachbarten Tavernen kennen das Problem und helfen den Ortsunkundigen und zeigen auf den Parkplatz von Sarpidon. Gleichzeitig kommt Dora von Sarpidon und begleitet uns ein paar Schritte zu unserer Unterkunft. Besser kann ein Willkommen nicht sein! Wir waren genervt von der unmöglichen Mietwagenübergabe bei RightCars (HER). Dora und Tochter haben uns noch mit einem Snack und einem Glas Wein versorgt, inmitten der……

“Not all rooms are beach-facing, as some rooms are in the semi-basement and some are facing the parking. No Condiments (coffee/Tea sachets/milk) in the room. Beach towels can be exchanged only on alternate days. Breakfast spread is good, but every single dish repeats every day. Good proximity to the central strip and safe to head back at night. Lovely beach, great for sunset and free beds included. Overall, an average place. Probably a no-frills budget hotel.”
