Very dog friendly! My pup absolutely loved the backyard and dock, and at 11 years old, she had her first experience with using a doggie door. “not a comfortable environment at all, cabin was full of bugs and cob webs everywhere, have to pay for guest’s to come visit. They say speed limit 5 mph but they zoom around on go carts going past cars, then tell the cars to slow down, because you’re not white!!!!!!! Most horrible experience ever!!! Then got police called on us as well!!!!! ”

“Stayed here with my mom and sister. It was clean, cute, comfy and a great place to chill with a breathtaking view of the lake. Not as steep of a walk to the water as many other rentals on the lake and not a ton of stairs either. It was chilly when we were there but the mini split and pellet stove kept us super cozy. The hot tub was great! Would love to come back and bring my kids sometime. One of the best rentals I have stayed at. A few restaurants, and wineries a short drive away but remote……

“We attended a May wedding nearby so decided to rent via VRBO rather than the expensive hotel rates around college graduation time. Very pleasant stay in spite of being off season. Our dog played on the beach and in the water with the neighbors friendly young dog. Located alongside a brook which was peaceful as you can hear the water coming down to the bottom of the hill and into the lake. Enjoyed nearby Filmore Glenn for hiking and seeing the beautiful water falls. Plenty of nearby wineries plus……

“The place was nicely remolded and looked like the photos. However, there was a terrible bug problem. You could not open the doors once it got dark out because hundreds of bugs would get in!! The counter tops would be filled with dead bugs the next morning. We would have to clean and vacuum a bunch of times. They seem to be trying to fix it by putting bug lights in the house. “Christine is an amazing host. A party of 17 of us visited the house in May 2024, and it was perfect for us. House was very clean, spacious, with lots of extra towels and bedding, A/C, fans, nicely equipped kitchen, gorgeous backyard with lots of space for kids to play, scenic beach access, etc. Our stay was extremely comfortable and we had an amazing time. Highly recommend the place and can't wait to visit again.”
