Robbery and total disaster - please don´t bring children

The house was lovely, but there were no security cameras etc, so the place is the perfect target fore the crime families lurking in the area. We stayed for 5 nights, and the only day we were away (for 3,5 hours) all our valuables were stolen. The place was watched. No cameras. No survaillance. Nothing.Teh police told us that this happens all the time. Have we known that, we would not have left the place un watched. Did we get the price reduced after this terrible experience? No, the house owner thought that if we don´t pay for the electricity, that´s enough. My children are still traumatized, and I would not recommend this place to anybody ever - unless you are in the military! A few days after the robbery someone tried to get in to the house at night, even if they knew we were in there. We asked several times for some compensation - but the answer was no. I recommend Greece - don´t go here! Br Trauma in Italy
