Spectacular Sunrise Spot

We enjoyed the stay, it was perfect for what we needed. Could have done without the ladybug convention going on but otherwise great vacation spot for some peaceful relaxation.

Great Stay, Awesome Home!

Lyn has an awesome property with anything and everything anyone could need. The home is very comfortable and spacious, with a deck and screened porch. We fished a lot from the dock, and had a great time. Fishing tip: For catfish, dusk was best with chicken livers that we’d had for a day hence some “extra” scent. Thank you Lyn! We’ll plan to be back next year!

Lovely views!

This was a great location--lovely views of the lake and we could watch water fowl from the couch. The house is very well-maintained and an easy place to visit with family. It's located on a dirt road that made for some really nice dog walks. The host was very responsive to our questions. Thanks, Lyn!

Relaxing Stay at the Lake

Our family had a fun, relaxing stay at the lake house. The kids spent most of their time paddleboarding and floating around the lake. House had room for our family and everything we needed.

NE Alabama getaway

Beautiful place to unwind and relax. The dock is more than you'll need. The lake is bigger than you can explore. The area is rolling hills and pasture. There are great places to hike and enjoy nature, especially waterfalls. Lyn is a really good host. Made us feel right at home.

Lake house

This was our third time staying at this property and we love everything about the home. It is comfortable, clean and close to the Lake. If we could buy the home and live there, we would definitely, do it. The few neighbors around the house are all very nice and helpful. Lyn the owner of the property is a pleasure to work with. I can't say enough good things about this Lake House.

Peace & Quiet

We want to thank you for sharing your lovely lake home with our family. They caught lots of fish the beginning of the week. Once it turned colder the fish stop biting. The diehards stilled fished until the last day. We had s'mores by the fire pit and endless amount of peace and quiet. We will be back.

Lady Bug Invasion

Property location is amazing. Enjoyed our time there. House needs a very thorough cleaning and we were inundated with a wave of lady bugs throughout the property. Thankfully they were harmless but made very strange bedfellows. Overall, despite some issues, which occur with every rental property, I would rebook this listing.

A Little Piece of Heaven

The house is beautifully decorated and is situated between trees with a breathtaking view of the lake. The house is always clean and has everything we need to take a break from the hustles of life. We love to fish and recently bought a boat which we used while on Weiss Lake. It was such a pleasure to be boating and fishing like we use to do on Lake Mead when we lived in Nevada. Thank you, Lyn, for being an exceptional host, and we will be back again soon.

Birthday weekend

This place is amazing. Pictures really do not do justice to the property. It was 5 adults and my dog celebrating my birthday. Plenty of space for everyone. The views are incredible. The house was very clean. You feel like you are staying at a friend's house, instead of just a rental. Loved hanging out on the dock and the screened in porch. Lyn is an amazing host. She was available to answer any questions we had. The check in and out process is easy. We are already looking at when we can go back next year. Thank you so much Lyn!

GREAT PLACE TO RELAX!

This is a beautiful and comfortable stay! The view of the lake from the deck is AMAZING! The dock is large, not one you feel you'll fall off of. The fishing is great, however, DON'T EAT THE FISH! According to waterkeepersalabama.org/fish the mercury in the water makes the fish unsafe to eat more than one fish a week. But if you're looking for some fun catch and release...THIS IS YOUR PLACE! We were in Cedar Bluff in early spring so swimming was not an option yet. The slide on the dock with a hose available to give a great swimming experience tempted us even though it was still cold. Lyn responded to our questions (via inbox) immediately and was very helpful. Don't miss this great VRBO!

Beautiful oasis by the lake

Lyn was a great host and communicates well with any questions or concerns. Theres plenty of parking for multiple vehicles, also has a full circle driveway in front of the house so you can pull a boat all the way around and has a plug right next to the driveway for charging. Pictures do not do this place justice it looks even better in person, has a nice screened in section on the deck for sipping coffee and listening to nature or watching the game on the flatscreen in the afternoon. It has the main living area, kitchen with huge island bar with stools, separate dining table area and master on main level then upstairs has 2 nice sized bedrooms with large bathroom then open sitting area for plenty of room for multiple guests. Has satellite tv with all of the channels you need for a few shows and sports channels(all 3 bedrooms) for the football games on Saturday’s, doesn’t have wifi but our phones had service so we could text, call or Facebook. My son and I were here for our Calhoun Bass Club Annual 2 day fishing classic, we didn’t win but had a great time and caught several fish, this is a great location if you want to fish all weekend and leave your boat tied to there huge dock that has 2 bays to tie off, we look forward to coming back in the summer and bringing our Grandson so he can go down the slide off the dock. Riverside boat ramp is 5 minutes away and that’s where our tournament was out of, by boat it’s about the same so very close. My wife, son and I had a great time!!!

Beautiful Property

The house is absolutely beautiful and the setting is perfect. It needs some TLC. The home has everything you need for your stay from a coffee maker (not K-cups) to utensils, bakeware, full size refrigerator, gas grill and charcoal grill. The large outside patio table is cracking from age, the sunroom had filled garbage bags and dirty ashtrays filled with cigarette butts. So we didn’t use it at all. No window coverings upstairs (not a huge deal) and paper blinds downstairs in the bathrooms but serve the purpose. You can tell someone came in to clean the day before arrival, but a quick “top” clean. Most doors don’t lock but are secured by a pole in the sliding door track. It’s off the beaten path, so really not worried about break-ins. The house was well decorated and being able to bring our little pup along was absolutely amazing. We had a great time and Lyn was amazing when it came to communication. My husband met his brother next door, who also has a Vrbo, very nice family. More tvs than you need when you have a beautiful serenity setting outside. The beds are close to needing new mattresses, as they’re becoming extremely lumpy and soft, but plenty of bedding is provided. The neighbors and neighborhood are wonderful! The boat dock is great, caught 3 fish our last day (out of 4 days fishing) Overall, we had a wonderful time and we’d definitely consider coming back. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
