「Peaceful getaway with only the sounds of the river bubbling and leaves rustling. This property was perfect for a much needed respite. It is both in the middle of no where but also a short drive to the small town of Mentone. The house is beautifully furnished and incredibly well kept. We were there in the spring so the adjacent ski resort and girls camp were empty, but imagine the private property with gate gives you quite a bit of privacy even when they are occupied. 「We came to town for a wedding in Rising Fawn GA and stayed at the lazy river cottage. It was perfect. Beds were comfy and house was impeccable. Whenever I had any questions, the owner was fast to respond. Overall would give this a 5 star review. Beautiful home with plenty of small town charm.」

「Let me start by saying this house was amazing! The layout was great. The house itself was brand new with all new appliances. Awesome hot tub on the back porch. On the cooler evening it was great to relax in. Ping-pong, basketball and a video game in the garage. Bedroom are very spacious. Especially the primary bedroom. Massive walking closet and its own full bathroom. I have more work to do in Rome here soon. I will definitely be coming back to stay here. Highly recommend giving this house...

「Perfect for family of 6 adults. We love to cook and enjoyed the convenient kitchen completely furnished with anything you could possibly need. Cooked out on grill too! Plenty of room for us all to be together comfortably inside and out! One person needed the chairlift due to knee issues. That was a bonus!」

What would be really nice to have is good outdoor furniture that is comfortable. It would help lesson the sting of no view. Also a must: some sort of heat on porch area.
