Nestled along Florida’s Nature Coast, Island Place Condominiums offer a serene island escape surrounded by the natural beauty of Cedar Key. Located directly on the Gulf within a true nature preserve, the property is framed by swaying palms, warm Gulf breezes, and tranquil coastal scenery—an ideal setting to relax, reconnect, and unwind.

Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or a fun coastal vacation, Island Place provides an exceptional blend of comfort, charm, and location. The complex is thoughtfully designed to reflect the historic character of Cedar Key while offering modern conveniences. Guests are perfectly situated next to the city marina and just steps from local restaurants, shops, art galleries, and the grocery store—no car required.

Additional Information:
• Grills are park-style and located at the end of the complex. Please bring your own utensils, charcoal, grill brush, and lighter fluid.
• No boat parking is available onsite. Public boat parking is located one block east or two blocks north, behind the museum.

Awesome Views and Great Accommodations

My husband, sister and I stayed for a short weekend and we had a wonderful experience. Unit was clean, spacious, and had everything we could need. Highly recommend. Convenient to EVERYTHING! The location is ideal and the views were spectacular. The host communicated well and everything went smoothly from booking to check out.

Perfect location for Cedar Key

Cedar Key is small so it’s great to be able to walk everywhere. The property is right on the water with excellent views of the Gulf. Boats come and go all day. Fun to watch. Everything was clean and orderly. No complaints at all! Will definitely stay there again.

Cedar Key Retreat

The property was very clean, tidy and well-furnished and decorated. s The location, with its wonderful view of serene water and a never-ending variety of birds, was so relaxing! The balcony had a table and chairs, but really fell in love with the swing! My one criticism is the request to take out our garbage and to start the dishwasher and washing machine with a load of towels. In addition, I don't understand the request to provide our own toilet paper and paper towels beyond the one of each provided. Given the price of the room and cleaning fee, I felt this was not consistent with the image advertised. I have stayed in many VRBO's and have never experienced this. If not for this flaw, the stay would have been perfect! Given the

Serenity by the Sea

The condo we stayed in was Perfection! Beautiful views of the ocean and tons of wild life. Tranquility, Peaceful and Layed back exactly what we were looking for. I went on several long bike rides and couldn't get the Smile off of my face. Hope this place never changes. Oh and the pool was nice too!
