Perfect Trapani stay!

We were so lucky to get to stay at this wonderful apartment overlooking the sea. Perfectly appointed for our family with many beds and stocked kitchen with beautiful gifts from this loving family. Nearby are amazing restaurants and car park and jumping off point to the Egadi islands. We were able to take our kids to the nearby playground and eat local foods all in walking distance. We definitely plan to return!

Excellent Stay in Cefalu

We loved the place. It was perfect for our family of four, Two teenagers and two adults. We used the pool everyday after spending time at the beach. The walk to the beach is about 25-30 minutes down hill and uphill. The walk back is great exercise or you could use a cab to get you back. The restaurant’s in town were plentiful. We had a great time, and if we came back, we would try to book the same place, because the views were excellent, the pool was perfect, and the hosts were helpful, welcoming, and available.

We stayed at this beautiful villa overlooking Cefalu and the beach. We were greeted warmly by Francesco the owner and Franco his colleague . The location could not be better and the views were stunning. The villa was clean and well kept. The swimming pool is large and was cleaned every morning . The owners father Mario used to bring us fresh melons and fruit very day . We had a wonderful time. You do need a car but the drive to town is only 2 km . The beach is lovely and there are plenty of good restaurants . I recommend this place highly .

Lovely home in the hills of Cefalu

We truly enjoyed our time at Villa Agape. Cristian, the property manager was so helpful and gracious. This space was perfect for our family of 4 and is set away from the down with beautiful views of the coast. Once we got used to the parking (narrow cars recommended or park down the hill) all was good. The house was clean and lovely. The pool was cool and refreshing and my 12 year old loved that you could see into the master bedroom from the pool. Very Cool. I highly recoomend this location for exploring Cefalu, the surrounding towns and even day trips into the mountains and vineyards. Also the roof/pool area had perfect sunset views. We hope to be back one day soon!

Perfect Cefalu experience!

We could not have been happier with Villa Agape. Excellent location a short drive from Cefalu. Gorgeous views from the amazing pool (with a glass window into the bedroom below!). Mostly this was a great experience because of the kindness, generosity, and attentiveness of Francesco. He was incredibly responsive and helpful, full of wonderful suggestions. He even gave us a hair-raising tour driving through old town Cefalu following him on his motorbike down streets I never ever would have driven down (but managed to survive without running down the multitudes of pedestrians that we parted with the car). This is the best place to stay in Cefalu and I would love to spend more time here in the future.

Recommend/Would Stay Again

This property is lovely! The views are spectacular and the pool is divine. The kitchen is nicely appointed, they had a cold liter of water in the fridge, coffee stocked, and morning snacks waiting for us. Walking in you may not think much but this place quickly became our vacation home! It’s small but efficient, we loved two bathrooms and to spread out sleeping in three areas. In unit laundry
important! Cristian was attentive, kind, and did a great job. He’s an excellent property manager! The language barrier was difficult however Translate was helpful when he remembered to use it but often he spoke Italian to us like we understood the language. Things to be aware of: 1) If you drive, the hill is not for the faint of heart. I made it up the first time and was happy I did because lugging our bags from the bottom wasn’t an option for us. Be brave and you’ll do fine. Also, reserve a manual car if possible. 2). There’s a construction site below the property. This is not a deal breaker but I would have liked to have known. It was noisy and a bit dusty at times so keep the windows closed during those hours. 3). There’s a musky odor in the house. It was stronger when we first walked in but we got used to it. It’s obvious this property is cared for and it was truly a lovely stay. The pool is the bomb!!

Complete disappointment and falsely described

This property is described as exclusive rated 9.4 exceptional with 26 reviews dating back to 2015 as a Villa with pool and panorama views. The view and rating compelled me to book the property. From the VRBO description “this Villa has an entrance that introduces you into an open space with large windows from which you could admire a splendid panorama of the coast, the town and the rock of Cefalu. On clear days the Aeolian islands are clearly visible.” This description is completely false. The Villa is NOT exceptional and there is no view. The view is view completely blocked by overgrown shrubs and trees. The house is advertised as having two bedrooms. In reality, it is only one bedroom with two open spaces, one in the living room and one in the bedroom that are allocated to a bunk bed and a very high bed. The high bed is described as a mezzanine. There is no privacy in this Villa for the bedrooms. Living room couches are very shabby and are covered with large throws. The driveway up to the villa is extremely steep. Our car had a very difficult time coming up the driveway to a very narrow turn for parking. The parking space was very small and hard to maneuver into. At one point due to the slope and curve one rear tire came off the ground. It was very dangerous. I don't know how we would have maneuvered parking in that spot in the dark without damaging the car. As soon as we entered the villa we were accosted and bitten by mosquitos. The property is uninhabitable.

Amazing view

We had a wonderful 10 days at Villa Agape with my wife and two children (7 & 9yrs) and my the grandparents. The apartments have everything that you need and Christian and Francesco are very welcoming and helpful. We took the larger apartment and one of the studios. We didn’t realise until we got there that the larger apartment is below the pool and terrace and also the bunk bed room is part of the main bedroom both of which were not a problem but just not clear from the description or photos. The view and sunsets were simply amazing every evening and the local town and beaches beautiful.

We had a very nice time at Villa Agape onfortunaly the add says the swimmingpool is private but this is not the case agency says than it have to say exclusive,the owner is more than friendly and helpfull apart from the miscommunication regarding the pool we had a very pleasant stay

TrĂšs bizarre !

Le propriĂ©taire n’a pas du tout Ă©tĂ© arrangeant, il vit Ă  cĂŽtĂ© son jardin donne sur la piscine. De plus ils nous surveiller avec une camĂ©ra de surveillance et nous a bien fait comprendre qu’il s’en servait car nous avons reçu un ami, nous Ă©tions 9 et il l’a su grĂące Ă  la camĂ©ra ! Honteux ! Je ne sais mĂȘme pas ce qu’il va faire de nos donnĂ©es !

Beautiful setting

Villa Agape was a little piece of heaven! The pool was fantastic and kept really clean whilst the view from the terrace was breathtaking, especially to sit and watch the sunset. The villa itself was comfortable and clean and whilst it could benefit from being updated a little, our stay at Villa Agape was a wonderful start to our holiday. Many thanks.

Perfect place with amazing views and hospitality

We could not have been happier to arrive on our first day in Cefalu after a 35 hour travel day to Villa Agape. Francesco was thoughtful, polite, and over the top helpful in every way. The villa was clean and comfortable and the private pool was just what we needed to relax and unwind from our travels. The fridge was stocked and the house was inviting. Francesco and the drivers made our trip easy and accommodating. Our trip was even better knowing Francesco. I would highly recommend this place and we will come back.

Beautiful sunsets

We had a wonderful stay in Villa Agape. The house was very charming inside and the pool area was fantastic. The view and the sunset was absolutely breathtaking. The owner was super friendly and helpful, ordering taxi and recommending a great restaurant for us. Our stay wouldn't have been the same without Francesco's kindfullness. We give Villa Agape our best recommendations!

Francesco went out of his way to make us feel at home! His home and the apartment he rented us is amazing! Superb villa

An amazing villa with the stunning views from the roof top pool and terrace. Great for lovely sunsets too. Skylight in the pool kept us entertained. V good sized pool plus versatile seating areas including a hammock and swing chair. Parking outside the property not easy but easy to park on the road close by. MD supermarket handy but parking in Cefalu crazy. We parked outside the football stadium each time we went into town as easy to get to and always plenty of room and only a 15 min walk away - though up a steep hill on the way back.

Villa Agape-A Luxurious Clifftop Retreat with Stunning Views of Sea and Cefalu

The dramatic beauty and serenity of Villa Agape are apparent immediately upon arrival. The villa sits high atop the cliffs with a sweeping view of the sea and sky as well as old town Cefalu.  The interior is tastefully appointed and well-designed with no detail omitted for the guest’s comfort and convenience. The lovely bedroom spaces and fully equipped, aesthetically pleasing kitchen and veranda (complete with retractable awning) overlooking the seascape make the villa a luxurious and tranquil hideaway. The pool area on an upper level is breathtaking—large pool, chaise lounges, gas grill, hammock and picnic dining table—all perched above the seascape. The villa offers onsite private parking and is conveniently located-only a five minute drive to old town Cefalu-where easy access public parking is available.

Pleasant relaxing stay

The villa is situated on a unique location near Cefalu, with marvellous views on the sea and village and sun all day. Our family enjoyed the well maintained large terras and private swimming pool. The hospitality was good. Inside the villa was OK, but not perfect considering the high rental rate.

Excellent villa with beautiful views of CefalĂč

Property was very clean and comfortable for our family. The pool was fabulous with amazing views to CefalĂč old town and La Rocca. Our host Francesco recommended places to eat in CefalĂč and where to visit on the island. He was always available to help and make our holiday perfect. CefalĂč is a lovely resort - great restaurants, beautiful old town, clean beach and great location to visit other places on the island.

La villa Agape est une villa trĂšs bien situĂ©e, Ă  proximitĂ© de la ville de Cefalu mais au calme dans la montagne. Les propriĂ©taires sont disponibles et trĂšs gentils. Schöne Villa mit Pool und Riesenterrasse am Rande von Cefalu

Die kleine Villa/Wohnung liegt idyllisch an einem Hang am Ă€ußeren Rand von Cefalu. Es sind ca. 3 km ins Zentrum, fĂŒr einen kleinen Abendspaziergang (leider z. T. an der Hauptstraße entlang) also genau richtig. Das nĂ€chste Restaurant befindet sich Richtung Hauptstraße nach Cefalu, ca. 1 km vom Feriendomizil entfernt, ein Supermarkt ist ca. 1,3 km entfernt. Die Buchung eines Mietwagens ist empfehlenswert, wenn man die Gegend erkunden möchte, wir haben unseren regelmĂ€ĂŸig zum Einkaufen etc. benötigt. Die Villa selbst ist gut ausgestattet, verfĂŒgt ĂŒber eine hĂŒbsche, kleine KĂŒche mit allen notwendigen Utensilien, die BĂ€der sind gut ausgestattet, ein Bad verfĂŒgt als Gadget ĂŒber einen in der Dusche integrierten Radio. Die Villa ist mit Liebe am Detail eingerichtet, gerade das vermittelt einen sehr wohnlichen Eindruck und macht den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm. Leider hatten wir Probleme mit dem Warmwasser, welches - trotz bemĂŒhter Versuche, das Warmwasser gangbar zu machen - auch bis zum Ende unseres Aufenthalts nicht gelöst werden konnte. Die Betten waren fĂŒr uns als WasserbettenschlĂ€fer vielleicht einen Tick zu hart. Im Schlafzimmer befindet sich an der Decke ein kleines Fenster, durch welches man direkt in den Pool sehen kann. Der Pool selbst und die dazu gehörende, große Terrasse (auf der sich sogar eine zweite Kochgelegenheit mit Wasseranschluß befindet) war sehr sauber und wurde tĂ€glich gereinigt, und wird teilweise auch vom Vermieterehepaar sowie deren Tochter benutzt, welche oberhalb auf dem gleichen GrundstĂŒck wohnen, so dass man sich nicht komplett alleine am Pool und auf der Terrasse befindet. Eine vielleicht wichtiger Hinweis fĂŒr manche, die komplett ungestört und unter sich bleiben möchten, fĂŒr uns war das kein Problem. Das Vermieterpaar war sehr freundlich und immer hilfbereit, die Kommunikation war hervorragend. Sollten wir noch einmal Urlaub in Cefalu machen, dann sehr gerne wieder dort.

Posto unico nel suo genere. Un casa appoggiata sulla collina che domina CefalĂč in una proprietĂ  chiusa e ben tenuta. La casa e ben arredata e si presta sia ad una famiglia numerosa o a piĂč famiglie insieme; Ăš dotata di tutti i confort, lavatrice, ++ tv, macchiane del caffe, wi-fi ecc. Sopra la casa si trova la piscina con aree per prendere il sole e spazi attrezzati per il barbecue, per cene con vista CefalĂč. Il tutto a un km dal centro del paese. Alle spalle della collina c’ù il parco delle Madonie, da non perdere assolutamente. CefalĂč Ăš bellissima con ristoranti tipici e negozietti di ogni genere, una lunga spiaggia di sabbia ideale per i bambini. Tutto molto bello ma la cosa che mi resterĂ  nel cuore della Sicilia sono le persone che ho conosciuto nell’ambito della prorpietĂ . Ti aprono la loro casa come se fossi un vecchio amico, e ti fanno sentire come di famiglia. Io non so se tutti i Siciliani sono cosi ma quelli che ho conosciuti io sono fantastici Se noi del nord, che siamo un po’ chiusi, calcolatori, diffidenti, e non abituati a questa disponibilitĂ  verso gli altri, riusciamo a lasciarci andare senza nessuna prevenzione possiamo godere di questa meravigliosa ospitalitĂ  fatta di piccole cose e di grandi persone.
