Quaint cottage by the Lake

Enjoy this quaint cottage within walking distance of beautiful Dale Hollow Lake.

Although the cottage doesn’t offer a lake view, you’ll be extremely pleased with the convenient proximity to the Dale Hollow marina (at Cedar Hill) and its amenities. While here, take a trip back in time to 1955 and imagine the excitement within the fishing community when the Worlds Largest Smallmouth Bass was weighed in at the Cedar Hill marina.
The historical swinging bridge at Dale Hollow is within a 15 minute walking distance from the cottage. Here, you’ll find a swimming area along with picnic tables and grills. The Dale Hollow dam and Cedar Hill Marina are both within view of the swinging bridge which make the location a nice place to relax and “boat watch”!

Thinking about setting a new world record but forgot the boat? It’s not a problem. Several marinas are close by and are happy to accommodate you with one of their pontoon boat rentals. Feel free to contact me for details. We do recommend that you arrange the boat rental in advance of your arrival to secure availability.

Located in Celina, TN. between Dale Hollow Marina and Cedar Hill Marina, “Old Bass Cottage” has two bedrooms and 1.5 baths.
The first bedroom is furnished with (2) dbl beds and the second bedroom is furnished with (1) double bed and (2) twin beds.
The cottage does include all cooking utensils, bath towels and charcoal grill. Direct TV and RECENTLY UPGRADED WiFi provided.
Parking will accommodate 3 vehicles and additional boat parking is available upon request.

We will consider pets on a case by case basis and there will be an additional charge if your pet is approved. It’s important that you contact property owners and obtain approval for your furry friend before making your reservation. YOU WILL LOSE 100% OF YOUR DEPOSIT IF YOU BRING A PET WITHOUT OWNER APPROVAL.


The cottage is within a (1) minute drive to the Dale Hollow dam and the Dale Hollow fish hatchery.

Ricky Bobby’s Roadhouse is a short walk/drive from the cottage. You’ll find great food and entertainment here.

Don’t let a rainy day keep you inside. The small historical town of celina is a 5 min. drive from the cottage. Here, you’ll find grocery stores, antiques, and additional local eating establishments.
