「I was on the island for a funeral, not your usual touristy needs. The staff was incredibly kind and made sure I had everything I needed.」

Stains and dirt everywhere (including insect infiltration behind the microwave which itself was connected to an exposed broken plug which is a fire hazard). Poorly maintained (plaster all over bathroom; doors stained). Kitchen was dirty (I couldn't use the sponge as it was smelly and disgusting). Batteries missing in...

「It was pretty quiet even though our room was right next to the elevator. The neighborhood feels safe, nice, and clean. It’s conveniently close to grocery stores and restaurants, and not too far from the state park. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast—two of the containers were empty with nothing much to eat, and no one came to refill them. So we went out for breakfast nearby. 」

「Our overall experience was great. While the decor and general vibe are straight out of the '80s (as you can see from the pictures), everything else was fine. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. For around $100 a night, you get a microwave, a fridge, and they even provide breakfast—so there's nothing to complain about.」

「We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Marina Inn. It’s a cute and newly renovated hotel with a very convenient location. It’s very clean, interior is tastefully decorated and staff is amazing. The breakfast is continental but a bit more variety than expected. We also enjoyed the cookie jar with fresh chocolate chip cookies available all day as well as coffee in the kitchen/reception area. Special thanks to Samantha at the front desk for being very friendly and kind. 」
