The place is old with charm. We booked it as a bed and breakfast only to show up and they only do breakfast during the summer. Sadly there were only coffee shops with pastries unless we drive to the other side of the island for the one restaurant that served breakfast. It was a bit disappointing.

Staff was great. Available but not intrusive. The place was cute and quiet. Wonderful to have access to cutlery, tea, blankets, etc. for sitting around and enjoying the property.

This is a gorgeous mansion of a house with beautiful antique furniture, comfortable beds, within walking distance of everything in Lopez Village. The owner is around but in the background so available if you need him. Super comfy room with all the amenities one looks for in a comfy BnB style stay!

BD get away on Lopez Island

Fabulous stay on this super friendly island super enjoyed the walkability from the Inn to a view spots around Lopez Village Anthony and Jessica were so very helpful for anything we needed.

This was such a cool house to stay in so luxurious there’s no TV but it was really great because there was no TV coffee shop two doors down beautiful views the property made you feel like you were a king and a queen highly recommend this place

We stayed at the Edenwild over 16 years ago when they were still serving pigeon eggs and it was a super cozy spot in the woods. Now it’s a full blown operation and it’s really well done. The morning breakfast was awesome and everything looked updated and functional. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful property right in the heart of the town. Very pleasant, kind and helpful host. We were lucky to stay in room 10 which has its own balcony sitting area. There are also water views from 2 directions. Breakfast was carefully delivered with fresh quiche, yogurt, and cinnamon bread. This was the nicest place we’ve stayed in a long time and look forward to returning!

Island hospitality

If you are considering a stop to Lopez Island as part of your adventures, this is a WONDERFUL and PERFECT inn to stay! Lodged here during a group vacation tour in 2024 finding it comfortable, clean, welcoming, charming & a refreshing level of trust and hospitality. Clean, easy access, grocery store within walking distance(seriously - one block) - again - just outstanding! In the summer months - you'll enjoy seeing rabbits enjoying themselves munching on grass - so calming and peaceful. If you go during the off-season winter months it is outstanding for different reasons. Quiet, calm, you may even have the property almost to yourself. Don't discount visiting during the off-season as it can be lovely for bird viewing, biking (bundle up), hiking on trails. Can't recommend this location enough!

When we arrived, the keys were sitting out for the guests--as there's no crime on the island. The continental breakfast was warm, and left out on a little table in front of each room, by 8 a.m. Thankfully, there wasn't a TV in our room, so my son went down to the lobby, and there were cards (and other board games), so we played cards before bed. Quite the tranquil experience.

Absolutely wonderful feel: warm welcome, open feel that makes it even better to enjoy the kind, welcoming, easy atmosphere of the island. Clean, well organized, thoughtful breakfast, perfectly located, owner is helpful on everything (including when somebody found our daughter’s jacket far away…). A gorgeous setting if you want a relaxing vacation, enjoying the views, coffee shop and brewery across the street, ease with kids or as a romantic gateway, reading or enjoying sunrise/sunset from the porch. I could go on and on. Exactly what I was going for on López (first trip, looking for bliss away from packs of tourists, with warm and happy residents and visitors) and beyond!

Stayed two nights in mid August. The facility was very nice! The keys were available when we arrived at entry desk (no attendant). The 2nd floor room was very great. Note, there is no elevator or AC but we were fine without. Nice cool breeze through room aided by quiet fan. No window screens, would be nice to have screen on bath window as a few moths joined us at night. (no other bugs at all). Breakfast was better then expected; included hot crepes. We would stay again!
