「We stayed for one night and took dinner and breakfast. It is a great home stay sharing travelling stories with other guests and learning about heritage of the farm. It is good to enjoy home style foods, plus endless supply of Tasmania beers and whisky. The cottage and room is clean and modern. Stay there if you pass by the area. 」

「When we arrived at Blue Lake Lodge no one was there and the place was all locked up. Tried to phone the lodge but rang out to a full answering machine. So clearly something wrong with their booking system. 」

「The house was cold but after using the fire, it warmed up quickly and retained the warmth. The property had not been cleaned well and some supplies for the fire were unavailable. Previous guests had used all matches and fire starters but after talking to the owner, this was sorted out very quickly and the owners very very attentive to other issues as they arose. A deep clean was scheduled on our leaving the property, and the owner allowed us to check out late afternoon as a good will gesture....
