「Cute little room in central Maui. If stying on a budget」

「On arrival, the room was FULL of dead bugs everywhere. Hundreds. Dirty dishes in dishwasher. Kitchen sink had sticky red substance on it. Kitchen counters had dusty layer. Microwave readout didn't work so you had no idea of cooking time. No way to set it. Dryer did not work. When I contacted the company that managed it and told them about all the dead bugs and the rest of the unclean issues, they assured me they would have someone out to deep clean first thing in the morning. Didn't happen....

「The property and rooms are very nice. Very lush and beautiful landscaping and easy walk to the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The issues that we had is that the air conditioner in the room was either not working properly, or undersized for the room. We had it set at 68 and it was hot in the room. We tried to turn it down to 66 and eventually 64, and I have a temp meter and the room was reading 80 degrees at night. It was very uncomfortable to sleep. We couldn't open the windows...

「Pros: Biggest plus at this condo was location -- steps from the beach, dining, shops, etc. One bedroom condo was also very clean when we arrived, well supplied, and spacious. Great pool, especially midday when everyone is at the beach. Kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of tp. Condo was quiet and beautiful landscaping provides a lot of privacy. Cons: No view so we did not spend time on the lanai. Water filter needs replacing; no through the door chilled water while we were there....
