I liked that it is in the middle of Kīhei walking distance to longs drugs, markets. Lively Kids park is 5min drive along restaurants, food trucks , souvenirs stores. I didn’t like the beach too much, it is rocky, and not turquoise paradise color. Also too much construction of the rooms going on at the time of our stay.

We've stayed here multiple times. Our unit this time was clean however it really did need some TLC...such as the kitchen counter tops were in rough shape. There was 1 fry pan and 1 small pot. Please don't list what's included condo on a sheet of paper when 70% of what's on that list isn't in the condo. We do love the outside amenities and location.

The condo was somewhat accommodating. The issues were tons of ants on the counters, which got into the food that we purchased at Safeway for the week. We call the management company and they said oh that’s normal.. there were many many small ants all over the counters. The AC unit only stays on or two hours at a time so having to get up to put the AC on was very unaccommodating.

I recently stayed at these condominiums and had a great experience overall. When I first arrived at Building B from the parking area, I was a little disappointed because the exterior looked older and somewhat outdated. But once I realized my room was actually in Building A, everything changed.The moment I walked into Room 212A, I smiled — the inside was clean, comfortable, and much nicer than I expected. The kitchen was well equipped, and when I called about the sink not working, management responded quickly and fixed it right away.The location is incredibly convenient. Everything — the airport, Target, Walmart, and other stores — is just minutes away, making the stay easy and stress‑free. My husband and kids loved the pool, and having a washer and dryer in the unit was a huge win for me.Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would definitely come back.

The overall stay was pleasant. Room has everything you need from kitchen, shower, beds all comfortable. The cleanliness was not the best as we had to clean the pillowcases. Overall the stay was worth the price.

The property was nice. The pool and hot tub were cleaned every day. There were barbecues to use in the courtyard and they were cleaned every day as well. You could walk to the beach, but it was not a sandy Beach for swimming, which we would have preferred for our kids. We had to drive to a nice swimming beach.

This was the worst stay. I will never book here again. The room was so so filthy and honestly a health hazard. The was rust in the fridge. We contacted Expedia and they basically said yeah the room was dirty and that we should've paid more money to have a decent room, for one that was clean and updated. Insane. Even if a basic room was booked, it should've been clean and sanitary. Don't book here. Never again.

This is our second time staying at Maui Sunset. It is a great complex in a central location to explore Maui. We were there during a bad storm which limited what we could do but communication from the office and maintenance team was good and we had an enjoyable stay considering the circumstances. The first time we stayed the unit had a lot more supplies like a cooler, beach blanket, pool noodles etc, this time was more limited, I suppose it depends on the unit owners. Overall a family friendly place with a nice ocean view and pool.
