「Beautiful place with friendly staff.」

「Very clean. Family friendly and beautiful scenery. We were only there for a 2 day weekend and didn’t get to take advantage of everything the resort offered like the pool and the grounds walking paths. I plan on returning for a longer stay in the spring/ summer. Bonus - I’m from Ohio and it doesn’t take long to get there - we can drive . The only thing- I think the restaurant is a little pricey. 38 a person for the buffet- it was good food but not 40 a person good . I’m not sure about regular...

「The main reason I gave lower ratings on some of the survey questions was due to an issue during check-in. I had already been charged by the Vrbo host, but when I arrived at Stonewall Resort, I was told there was no card on file and that I would need to pay again. It appeared that Stonewall needed to process payment through the host rather than charge me directly.I tried explaining to the Stonewall staff that a third party was handling the payment, but they were unable to verify or locate that...

「Host was extremely responsive before, during and after the stay. Facilities were very clean and basic. It met our needs, which was a place to sleep. Location was excellent (4 miles to downtown Elkins). Fridge and microwave were nice amenities. Free coffee and tea were appreciated. The rocking chairs outside on the screen porch were nice for morning coffee as well as the terrace overlooking the river. It was quiet and peaceful. No barking dogs or children running around.」
