Nostalgia is the word I would best use to describe this comfortable Lakehouse. From the rock fireplace to the heart pine cabinets in the kitchen, the decor and the welcoming back porch all made us feel like we hadn’t rented a Lakehouse but we’re visiting grandpa’s Lakehouse. I have never felt so relaxed away from home. We loved it so much we extended our stay. The host, Erin, made everything so easy. She was accessible for questions and very welcoming. We cannot wait to come back in the summer.

Cabin was cozy and appointed well. Walking down to the lake was a tad difficult. We were looking forward to fishing but never got a nibble. We did have a beautiful view of the lake from the back porch. The town had limited eating out venues.

Fishing trip

House was perfect for us for our fishing trip. Ramp close by. Country setting. We felt comfortable leaving out boats there at night. No worries of anyone stealing anything.

Nice weekend getaway

This was a perfect place for our weekend getaway for some crappie fishing. The cabin was very spacious and clean. There were only 3 of us so we had plenty of room. The new floors are very nice! We loved the fact of having a private dock to fish from right in the back of the house. It was very close to shopping/restaurants (Walmart, Dollar Tree, KFC, Waffle House, etc). Erin was very responsive and provided very clear instructions for checking in/out. I would definitely stay here again for another fishing trip.

Rustic cabin stay

The stay was great. My family of 5 fit comfortably. Having direct access to the lake was fantastic! Two refrigerators was also helpful. Nearby to a grocery store, and not far from hiking or town. Highly recommend this place!

Great fishing cabin.

Home has accurately been described by the host and previous reviews. Small details threw me off slightly (a previous used wash cloth was hanging on the curtain rod for the shower and the small fridge had food items leftover from previous renters) again these were small details that were different from previous Vrbo stays at other listings and didn’t have a big impact on our stay. The home is right on the water and we would absolutely book again in the future.

Anniversary getaway

Rustic, comfortable, quiet and great location. We had a good view of the beautiful lake from the porch and firepit areas (could be improved by removing small trees and lower limbs). Also, the outdoor furniture could have been cleaned. Host replied quickly and check in was a breeze. Several restaurants we wanted to try were closed until Thursday the day we left.
