“Beautiful room in a beautiful location. The host at the hotel was extremely welcoming and made an effort to make sure we were comfortable. ”

“Friendly check-in staff - very helpful and courteous. unfortunately amenities let this down. Stayed for 2 nights (3 people) but we were only provided with 2 Dolce Gusto coffee pods for the entire duration and upon asking, were told that we would not be getting anymore. 2 sachets of sugar, no milk, tea etc. No iron in room so we asked for an iron and were told they did not have any. Breakfast was good, with the hot options being scrambled eggs and bacon (which ran out at 9am and was not……

“We were heading out very early one morning for a tour and because breakfast was not served until 8:30 we would have missed it. They left everything in the fridge se we could help ourselves to breakfast very early. Very much appreciated. Susanna was wonderful and made us a fire and was very welcoming.”

“Avoid room #7. First of all, you must take many steps to get to the highest floor and the lights keep turn off by itself (dark and kind of slippery). Secondly, room #7 with slanted ceiling, the ceiling is super low, it hit both my husband and myself a couple of times, and I am short, only 155cm. In my opinion, this room should not pass inspection for rent. Not safe.”

“Great view from the room and the cafeteria/restaurant. The mountain and the river behind are spectacular. The room itself is quite nice and big as well. However, the only public transportation to get to the hotel is by bus. Even it is only three minutes walk to downtown, still strongly recommend to rent a car if you would like to explore more in the neighborhood. The hotel has its own underground parking lot. So it is not a problem for parking.”

“Lovely site. Elegant decor. Rooms are simple, very comfortable and spacious. Soundproofing could be improved between rooms. Hallway quite echo-y. Service friendly and prompt. Very nice and complete breakfast.”
